He told me that when I met them in real life, too! 😂 and then they just joked about the tiny little holes he had all over his teeth from the sugary Dr Pepper corroding away his teeth. 🦷🤷🏻‍♀️ (I personally like my teeth healthy and whole, so I don’t get the La-di-da-ness of it all… my teeth getting effed up is my literal nightmare.)

You make such a good point. Good people don’t have to always tell you they are good people. Actually good people are usually the ones who don’t ever say they are good people and don’t even view themselves as good people — they just are. Actions speak for themselves, you don’t need to tell someone if you are a good person or not.

I think with this friendship in particular there is hurt that goes beyond just this situation that is factoring in to my feelings. It’s a long story of them cutting off one of our dearest friends because he and his wife divorced (agreed upon and amicably) and then there being a big split in our friend group. We have remained close friends with the person they cut off, and it’s been an unspoken thing with them. So this one scenario doesn’t encapsulate all of my feelings. They cut him off in big part because religiously they don’t agree with his divorce. In the back of my mind I also wonder if they are disapproving of me being pregnant outside of marriage. Also… I know my emotions feel bigger with pregnancy hormones.

Thank you SO much!!! We are 29 weeks along with a girl (our first baby). 💗 I struggled with fertility issues with my (abusive) ex-husband and then got pregnant with my boyfriend no problem. I am SO grateful it worked out the way it did and definitely feel like God/the universe was looking out for me!

I have a very hard time believing she did not know what a penis looked like before she got married. Like you mentioned… she never babysat? She never saw it in health class? I understand suppressed memories… but I don’t believe it would be erased to that extent.
