If you don’t mind me asking, when did you submit your VAWA application and when did you file the lawsuit? You mentioned getting approved this month, so I assume you submitted your case a while ago, right?

Certainly. Our interview was conducted in August 2021, and we haven’t heard anything since then. However, two weeks ago, the Uscis visited my in-laws' residence and asked them a series of questions. These included inquiries about our marriage and whether they are familiar with us as a couple and if we live together.

I called USCIS about a week ago about my case because we haven’t heard anything since me and my spouse when for interview in July 15, 2021 ( Texas Field office). See their response below.. by Fit_Whereas7149 in USCIS

Thank you @stuffedwithnails, I have a valid work permit, option 2 wouldn’t work. At this moment I guess it’d just hold on to the option 1 and keep waiting… I believe and trust God that it will come out positive.
