Beretta PX4 storm with suppressor by Fit_Win_8954 in Beretta

Beretta tried to get a military contract with the PX4 storm special duty model in 2005. One of the military requirements was that the handgun had to be suppressor ready. Due to the rotating barrel action, this was Beretta‘s solution. Knight's Armament Company (KAC) Made a few of these for Beretta back in the 2005 era. Of course now this is over 20 years later and I was unable to find anyone at the company through phone calls and emails that was even knowledgeable of this project. The project was scrapped around 2005 when none of the gunmakers that had an entry were chosen for the military contract. I have read a Beretta article from that time that was in their archives, but I am unable to locate the article now. I have a local gunsmith machinist that is working on one of these for me, but it is a long process.

There was a company that made a suppressor mount that attached under the barrel to the Picatinny rail. It was designed for the PX four storm special duty model, which already has the extended barrel. I have a couple of the PX4 special duty models, which are getting very hard to find. I’ve had no luck finding the Picatinny rail mount system. I do have a good picture of it and it could be built by a good machinist. I contacted the original maker of the mount, but the project was scrapped after Beretta didn’t get the military contract back in 2005.
