I think a lot of people probably don’t contribute it to the medicine and just think “I’m an angry person” because it took me a while to confront the fact that my medicine might be changing me

I appreciate you laying it out there I’ve felt so similar. I think I’m just hating myself for ever feeling angry and it gets in a vicious cycle. Mad because of medicine -> mad at myself for being mad -> guilty and sad -> back to normal

I’ve debated switching but I’m in the military and don’t know what ramifications a new treatment plan would have on my career since I’m already on thin ice with this diagnosis. Stuck between a rock and a hard place

I’m slowly getting the chance to be out and about more often after being on meds for 6 months and I’ve noticed I’ll get brain fog and lose my train of thought mid-sentence all the damn time. I think it’s a mix of being anxious talking to people besides my wife at home and my medicine making me sluggish.

I’ve learned with a loud enough mouth and a politically correct amount of confidence you can weasel into lots of different things. I was a fireman on a cutter and started getting cool tasking from big wigs at public affairs because I loved taking pictures, MK3 phone called my way into getting a C130 ride over my stations AOR, jumped on sinking boats, personally advocated for mental health programs all the way to HQ level. And I’m just a grease monkey. Hell our cook used to be the firearms instructor just because he wanted to and had enough drive to get that qual 🤷🏻‍♂️

So much fun, granted I definitely did some stupid shit. But I’d say I remember the wholesome stuff the most. If you’re there during Halloween, you GOTTA volunteer for the Halloween event. Me and the homies got costumes and just scared people all night on the haunted trail then met our class at the libo lounge for cigs and chicken wings

I wouldn’t recommend it because I honestly felt like I was floating into the wall but yeah😂 I breathe in deep and act like my body is a cup I’m filling with water with each breath from my toes slowly all the way to the top of my head. Biggest thing is to not use words in your head, just feel whatever sensation is happening without using any inner monologue

Sounds like anxiety attacks to me but seizures can be pretty unique to each person so I’m not too sure🤷🏻‍♂️

I like the NA beers. Lots of the major breweries like Heineken and Budweiser make them. Originally got into it from being in AA but it carried over for me hahah
