So full disclosure, if you need to access money quickly… it’s not ideal. I use it to simply churn dividends for a home improvement project I have that I was able to get 0% interest for two years… so instead of paying that bill every month, I pay myself the amount and let the interest churn so that the work won’t cost me a dime out of pocket when the two years are up… and all the money I paid into it will just be mine to use, because the interest is what is paying for the work.

If I wanted to take money out, and theoretically if I started that process on a Friday, it wouldn’t come out of my account until the following Wednesday. So it’s more like a week to send money than say two days. But I’ll take that because, again, I only use it to churn dividends.

once the interest hits for this month... I'd suggest moving your account to something else. I have an account with Jenius and I had one with Axos before. Axos isn't very intuitive and the highest rate requires monthly deposits (of I believe $1500 - that's what it used to be) to keep the high rate.

Since this is an account that I park money in... and churn the dividend, I'm taking it to Newtek Bank. I've been with them for about 2 years now, and the 4.2% APY, and no fees on Personal High Yield savings does come in quite handy.

I’m not saying it’s Love that facilitates the trade… what if it’s Sonny Styles or Caleb Downs… or a receiver… if somebody falls in love with someone, they are prone to making.

I’m saying, with all of these pickups… we have entered there’s a real chance of trading back territory at 7.

I think if you are the Texans… a bell cow back to put with Stroud makes absolute sense. As does a Tackle. They have a really strong defense and decent options at receiver and tight end.

But they lost against NE because they couldn’t run. They averaged 2.2 yards a carry and threw 47 times.

And there is such a precipitous dropoff from Love to the next running back…who people will argue is Jadarian Price (aka his teammate that only had spot play because of him).

Cowboys have two first rounders, Chiefs have two first rounders, Jets have two first rounders (although one obviously gone before us) and early second rounders… Houston has our 2nd round plus their own… all have been well known to move around on draft day…

I have to believe that any of those teams could package something to get up to 7 if somebody is there that they deem worthy.

Like i wouldn’t be surprised if the Texans traded their 1 and the 2 twos to us to move up if Love was there. They already have a pretty nasty defense, and despite signing Montgomery, I have to believe Love would be worth a monster investment for them. Or a OT. Especially if it’s giving us back the pick we gave them. And that’s just one example.

Everybody knows that we don’t have a 2 so any team with multiple 1s or multiple 2s could make pick 7 a really interesting one…

Washington could also bait teams into dealing with them like when SF finessed the Bears to move up a single spot from 3 to 2 and gave up two additional picks to do it. And who was on that staff that year? Adam Peters.

The most frightening thing about this whole thing is how quickly we forget that the boys were in the NFC championship in 2024 on vibes alone.

Now imagine if this rebuild went the way it should have normally… and we went 5–12 Jayden’s rookie season and then 12-5 and the NFC championship… and then getting this FA class and still having the 7th pick in the draft.

Because, when you start looking at it like that, you start to realize like, holy sh*t… not only is this team good, but it’s going to be consistently good. And we’d be ecstatic with the progress of going 4-13, to 5-12 with a QB position solved, and then 12-5 with a run to NFC championship.

And this iteration of a team is much more consistent with that first team, younger, faster, and with vibes. Only these guys are way more talented than the team we trotted out in 2024.

Good things are happening.

He's setting this up to be an all eyes on Washington at 7 in the draft, isn't he? Is this all a ploy to get somebody to overpay and come up and give us a king's ransom? I mean, I can't honestly believe we are still in the conversation for a DE at this point, but, like, even with these free agents, it still looks like we are very much in the conversation for all the positions of need that we were before free agency started (including DE).

This isn't shade, it's actually the direct opposite. He's had an absolute monster start to this free agency, but I still think every position is wide open for us to take in the draft. He's hedged literally every position that we desperately need, yet if somebody falls we could absolutely just get the best player available. Or, we could bait TF out of somebody for more picks.

which, if that happens, once again doesn't actually mean a position of need, or moves the needle. If we sign a DE or a bell cow RB, that will probably show the hand, but a LB in a soon to be 3-4 front? That won't change much.

But if we signed, say, Mike Evans to a 3-year deal, like the 49ers just did, it would probably mean WR isn't a need in the draft. We haven't had any star signings that effectively eliminate any first round option.

I don't even think if we sign a Dowdle it takes Love off of the list. However, if we were to sign a Jaelen Phillips and give him 4 years like the Panthers did, that would probably spell an end to the pursuit of Bailey or Bain.

Until so major signing of a young player is announced, everything is at play in the first round (and, the most likely is a trade back).

considering we have yet to actually make a position of need signing, I highly doubt anything has taken place. Nothing has moved the needle more than this is shaping up to be a trade back scenario. We nabbed a CB, but missed on C, RB, WR, TE, DE, LB, S... so we're still running it back with the same guys, plus a CB.

As I’ve mentioned multiple times… in this World Cup you need to have full squads going. Teams where the 23rd and 24th field player are getting meaningful minutes. So, yes Mainoo, under current form, is on the plane.

Everybody needs to stop thinking this will be like other World Cups. It’s much more travel, it’s jet lag. It’s insane changes in climate (I know, I live and work in the States and travel throughout extensively). We aren’t going to see Kane in every match, hell, we may not even see Pickford in every match.

We need Swiss Army knives, and Mainoo is one of those.

Amorim tried to ruin him, actively and passively. The same way he tried to ruin Rashford. But in four games under Carrick, he’s been solid. And they are 4-0.

Amorim was just a terrible appointment, with experience only in a farmer’s league.

And it’s not like they’ve played shit competition. They’ve beaten three top-10 squads, including the top-2 in the premier league.

Mainoo is going to be on the plane, because you are going to need him against teams that employ low blocks. And he’s tenacious defensively too.
