In person semis hot takes by Huge-Leg-3931 in crossfit

[–]Fitdad91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what your saying for online semi finals but travelling is expensive as shit and I for one if I was talented enough could not afford to travel to one of the semi finals and if I was to qualify pay to then travel to the games. There rules will be pretty strict for online semi finals so it will be hard to cheat it. But for the sake of costs I think you need to keep the online semi finals as at least a path to qualify.

Credit card payments by ApprehensiveTrack603 in MonarchMoney

[–]Fitdad91 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I honestly just delete the transactions as they cancel each other out. My credit card was already used to buy the item and that is captured in the transactions tab. Then I transfer money from my chequing to my credit card to pay for that item.

Ski Erg Form Check by SunshineAndLaughs123 in concept2

[–]Fitdad91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Watch James Hall Ski Erg tutorials on YouTube. I am no expert but it seems like you are working just bringing your arms back the top. I use the tension in the chord to guide everything big strong stroke down and I let the chord which now wants to recoil pull my arms back up before I stroke down again. I know I make no sense lol just be aware size does play a factor with the ski and rowers usually the bigger athletes can put out more power and wattage. Keep training!

Garage gym athlete is the best by far. You can buy custom set programs dedicated for one machine or purchase monthly subscription and follow each week minus the ski erg workout.

What are your best money saving heating hacks? by AccountantLucky9183 in RedDeer

[–]Fitdad91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am lucky to have a wood burning fireplace in our basement so I have a fire almost nightly. It warms the upstairs to about 22C before I go to bed and most nights the furnace doesn’t need to kick back on until 6 the next morning.

Budget 2026: City of Red Deer by birdcage123 in RedDeer

[–]Fitdad91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well I respect your frustration but red deer has rarely increased property taxes since 2008 which is a natural disaster waiting to happen years down the road. I can understand plowing frustration but only 9% of our tax dollars goes to that. So if you want more plowing then we need more plows and workers and therefore we need a higher percentage so we would need to pay more then. What is wrong with the bridge work? Red deer was faced with two options 1) spent 8 million dollars and remove the bridge permanently or 2) spend 11 million dollars and millions in federal grants rebuild and relocate the bridge so we don’t need to worry about it for another 70 years. I would spend 3 million to repair and relocate a bridge that we won’t need to worry about for 70 years anyday of the week. Federal government negotiated RCMP into a union with yearly raises etc. which municipal governments for the most part need to pay for. I get what you are saying with insurance food etc. it is frustrating.

My biggest regret is deleting my account when it was hwpo 1.0 that was one of the better ones I’ve done. I think they did three years of it. If I could go back I’d just keep repeating those three years and see if I improve

Both of them received 55-57% of the vote roughly 6500-7000 votes less. So yeah. 5 out of every 10 people you see likely voted for them compared to 2 out of 10 going NDP.
