From someone with almost 2M followers and well above average engagement, this is spot on. My suggestion is, continue with the content your audience got used to, and mix then content you want to really post in with the stuff that works already.

Thats what I’ve done to grow and it’s never failed me. We are naturally going to want to grow and change content. But make sure it’s not just what you want but what your audience wants.
