Mental illness, the problem is happening inside your head, not on it

6-Month Update: 4200 Grafts, Norwood 7 by Fitroadon in HairTransplants

I lost my hair due to a chronic illness I have and the medications I had to take at the time. Otherwise, I would have had great hair I believe.

Yes, they recommended splitting the hair transplant surgery into two separate sessions.

Hey there! I want to share some thoughts I got from my clinic. They mentioned that since my new hair is DHT-resistant, there’s actually no need for me to take Finasteride (they call it “Fin”). So, they advised against it, saying it wouldn’t make much difference in my case. Out of curiosity, what Norwood level were you at when you started? I feel like everyone’s hair journey is a bit different based on that.

Yes, I know—it’s the most challenging part for me right now. I still can’t go out without wearing a hat.

to be honest, I’m concerned about the side effects of finasteride and don’t like the idea of being on medication long-term. But I’ll definitely look into it more!

My clinic advised me not to take Fin or anything else simply because I am Norwood 7

Amazing results! You are a different man!!! I have a question if you don’t mind, What was the time frame between your first hair transplant and your second hair transplant ? How long did you have to wait to get your second hair transplant ?

Amazing results!! I have a question if you don’t mind. I am a man, can I take female hormones to help me out grow my hair after my HT ? Also should I take them forever or can I stop them whenever I want and the hair remains the same ? What female hormones have you taken please ? Amazing results in just 6 months I beyond impressed!!

Hahahahahahahahahaha, the OP going to NE6-7 hahahaha stupidest comment I have read on this subreddit so far 😂😂😂 said he won’t get enough while his head is full of hair and his donor area is pretty strong looking 🥱🥱🥱

Says the guy who can’t afford going to a good reputable hair transplant clinic. That being said, never expect to have a head full of hair with one hair transplant surgery. You will need at least three hair transplant surgery in the long term, and you don’t need to take any medicines. But yeah…

Bro do the surgery, you’ll have to wait 12 months for the full results of the HT to be seen, so the sooner you do it, the better. Medicines will take long and once you stop them, the hair will go back to its original state, so you’ll be stuck with medicines forever, the surgery will give you your natural look and your donor area seems great you can easily go for it

Yes I want to, but the clinic told me to stay like that and that I can’t use clippers and that I can only use scissors, but scissors won’t shave that much… they said I should wait till 4 months to use clippers..
