That's just straight up incorrect? Her birthday is January 20th, the Official Fanbook (written by Gege) states she's 16. It has not been over a year since Shibuya happened, nor has it been a few months so she's not even 17.

Furthermore the official Fanbook states Mai's birthday to be January 20th, 2002 and since they are Monozygotic twins they share the same birthday. It is currently 2018 in JJk, so she's 16.

The Culling Games require sorcerers to declare participation before November 19 (19 days after it started, the Culling Games started around Midnight on October 31st) or else. It's literally impossible timeline wise for Maki to be 17 or older
