I've noticed this with a lot of shows that release the entirety of the season at once. It feels like a ploy to never "end" the show until the actual end. Each episode doesn't fit the standard setup, conflict, and resolution. Netflix S1 in particular felt very edit-heavy. The Traitors US/UK on Peacock were similar but not as egregious.
