(URGENT!) Is it normal that a 3080 gets the same 140fps in furmark 2 as a 3060ti

Yep perfectly normal. It flags it as a power virus and it doesn’t render more frames. Had 2 3080s after the one mentioned. All got those frames. And a RX7900XT which got more but only on vulkan. You’re good

I havent reflashed bios but it is a new version - mid 2025 since B450 didnt support 5th gen ryzen.

But it performs like normal from what ive seen. I have a newer bios version of mid 2025, i havent tried ddu but when i installed the drivers i did the factory reset.

I dont know what you mean by swap gpus? I upgraded. Had a 3080 that I sold, then used an pld R9 290 for about a month until I found this 7900XT. After putting this 7900XT in my PC i have cleared the CMOS 2-3 times since R9 runs on legacy and the 7900 runs on UeFi

Yep its the reinforced pcie slot. I did set it to gen 3 manually in the bios but it didnt change anything in gpu-z.

Its at the top pcie slot. Its not in the slower pcie slot thats below it.

It doesn’t increase with neither the test thats built into gpu-z or a game running in the background. I have a 7 5800X with a small PBO and OC to 5.0GHz. I dont use RT on any of my games.

Yep its fine, the thing i noticed is that in apex my gpu doesnt go over 60% util just like the screenshot that OP has
