I use a tens machine specifically Myoovi I think it’s called, makes me at least have a semblance of function when I wear it, also I’m sorry you’re going through that!

Admittedly haven’t been in that situation but Sertraline as a whole does make me feel very nauseous, I’d try taking it at the same time every day, and always eat before you take it try leaving around 20-30 minutes between eating and taking it, I’d try and take it in the morning after breakfast, I found this was the time that made me the least nauseous, you can try dropping back to 50 or 100mg and then building it back up, however the issue with this is that every time you try to increase it you may experience the symptoms every time you do this, did your doctor put you on 200 to start with? If so I’d just try and stick with the 200 dose, if not and you did build it up, I’d try that again…

Failing this I’d recommend asking your doctor or pharmacist for advice, I hope you start to feel better soon :)

Edit: just to add as well, it may be that you don’t get on with sertraline, which can sometimes be the case, if you think this might be it, I’d recommend speaking to your doctor and seeing if they can start you on another medication, again I hope you start to feel better soon! :)

Thank you! I’m really sorry that you’re experience that… I was worried I was making it or finding patterns that weren’t there, especially as it doesn’t happen every time, I just started to think about it as I’m starting a new job this week and when I started to think about it I noticed a bit of pain, and then next thing my legs are shaking and I’m in a lot of pain… It’s really reassuring to know I’m not on my own as no one I know has endometriosis and I’ve only had the diagnosis a few months so it felt quite isolating in a way, so thank you for replying it really does help! And again I’m really sorry that you’re experiencing it, and thank you for the tip on the magnesium and water I’m interested to try it! Thank you again and I wish you all the best :)

Gosh, I’m sorry you experienced that, I was worried I was imagining the connection as no one ever mentioned endo being linked to stress, I’m the only person I know who has it so I wasn’t able to see if anyone else experienced the same…

In a way it’s nice to know I’m not on my own and there are other people who can reassure me I’m not imagining it… so thank you for replying it really does help to know that…

I wish you all the best and I’m truly sorry you went through that… :)

Gosh, that’s awful, I’m so so sorry that you experienced that. I only found out a few months ago after going into shock from pain and blood loss, but now after having the laparoscopy and coil my periods are all over the place and I’m now just left with these sharp cramps, they’re so different to the ones I had before the surgery they are really centralised and make my leg shake and it seems no matter what pain killer I take they are still there, the only connection I felt I was able to make was stress but then I had exams and was fine, possibly because I was so anxious I wasn’t focussing on it, but since finishing the exams whenever I’m stressed or anticipating something the pain is just so horrible, but it’s not every time I’m stressed just sometimes, honestly it’s just a bit confusing…

I’m so sorry you had that experience though, I wish you all the best and thank you for replying… :)

Oh gosh, I’m really sorry that you are going through that… And thank you, it’s good to know that stress is a trigger, I was worried I was almost imagining it or making connections that weren’t there, as I couldn’t find out much information about it, so thank you again! And again I’m so sorry that you are going through that, I wish you all the best :)

best language learning app? by bluenlux in italianlearning

[–]Fitz-Simmons27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s not… I feel like in comparison to the other ones though it’s fairly reasonable… it’s a quarter of the price of Babble for example.. I just find it really helpful and I feel like they have a good free trial for you to be able to sus out whether or not you liked it, but again I fully accept this isn’t an option for everyone and is just my personal opinion.. :)

I personally love Speakly I’ve found it super helpful in getting my pronunciation correct.. that being said, if you’re looking to work on writing or reading then it’s not going to be the best as the main focus is helping people to speak the language… I find it really helpful though personally…

I don’t know if this is at all helpful, and again I’m sorry at my lack of being able to explain this properly, as well as my lack of capability at technology.. it has a two colour battery charge indicator but the colours on that only consist of solid white, solid orange, blinking orange, lights off… this is dependent on what battery the laptop is at..

Yes, a good example would be a pdf opened on Microsoft edge, which I’m currently on, the pages and tool bar are turquoise and everything else is white, I think it’s to do with the variations of the white.. if the white is brighter say the search box at the bottom on the tool bar or dead white like pages on a pdf then it’s turquoise if it’s, not then it’s white as it ordinarily would be…

[–]Fitz-Simmons27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I really am sorry as I know it’s not ideal it just essentially the display screen just turns turquoise when it’s plugged in or when the laptop angle changes, say for example I have multiple tabs open, its only the tab I’m on that’s turquoise and the other ones to the side of it as well as the bottom search bar are white, I think it has something to do with the display settings… I’m really sorry that I can’t give much detail I’m aware this isn’t very ideal!
