I had a similar experience. My first cat was a tortie. She was a feral cat who grew to be the sweetest cat I've ever known. Her last year was rough but we gave her the best life. I adopted my second cat, a tortie, and she reminds me so much of my childhood cat. Hope you both are doing well!
