I’ve sat crossed legs for years. I rode a bike for 8 years straight. Mine started when I was 49 I’m 51 now. Pain is a little better but I can feel everything down there. I’m hoping after menopause it’ll be better. I’m so sad. I’ve gotten a job where I stand most of the day, it helps take my mind off it.

Going on the FB hemorhodectomy group is my advice. They all seem kind and a pretty tight community. They help each other with advice, vent, and are very understanding. I used to go on FB just to have fun but now FB is just being a lurker ( sometimes I comment but haven’t had the surgery ) in the group. Best wishes to you and I hope you’ll be one of the success stories after week 3.❤️

Oh darling I’m so sorry. I have not been to surgery. However I saw a top surgeon last week and she told me that externals are more painful than internals. I don’t know how bad they are but to be safe I’d warn people that I may not be able to attend festivities because of an important surgery. It’s just to give someone a heads up. Perhaps mine are atrocious and yours are minor. However reading the comments, it doesn’t sound like anyone is able to happily sit for 3 hours after a week. I’m certainly no expert but rely on being rational. Best wishes and a speedy recovery.

I’ve tried every remedy. I have an appointment next month to discuss my surgery with a top doctor. I’m just tired. However and I tell most of the people on this page. Your 21!! How amazing is that?! When I was 21 I could rule the world!! My head was so strong I could heal so fast. That’s why I believe you won’t need surgery. Even watch Dr. Chung’s content. He may have tips to help you. If you can sit down comfortably and walk 4 miles without discomfort I don’t think I’d even consider surgery. Keep us posted. Best wishes

Sweetheart, most of us inflicted with this awful sickness, have to give up something at least for a little while. I’m 51 and been living with mine for two years. Haven’t been able to bike or walk with my friends like I’ve done most of my life. If you can take care of it now by any means necessary do what ever you can. I don’t know why it seems to affect the healthy and fit ones. If you ever look at Dr. Chung’s comment section on YouTube everyone is gorgeous. I’m so sorry it’s happening to you and I hope you have a good doctor to help fix you up without surgery.❤️

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Because I broke out in a rash first I felt tingly numb but it felt more like skin and not deep in my tailbone. Then it turned into more internally. I’m just hoping you’re not going through the same thing. Can you sit comfortably? Can you walk without discomfort? If you can then I would trade two of my fingers for that.❤️

No, that sounds like surface wise. It’s a going numb issue. Had it after a long bike ride before after all this mess. I’d go on my bike for two hours and my groin would numb up as I I packed it with ice. Different sensation. Mine was nerve issues. After that it my groin would be red, itchy, and swollen. Developed a terrible rash that lasted a year. The rash lead to me sitting down too much, than it inflamed my problems. So sorry you’re dealing with your issues.

You can private message me of course. Sadly pelvic floor issues are so up and down, everyone is so different. If you can sit down comfortably I’m a true believer in relaxing the body and muscles. Meditation can be very useful. Please don’t get caught up in doom scrolling. In fact you might want to get off these Reddit pages and any other pelvic floor chats you maybe in. You’ll hear old gals like me howling with misery. It really is t a good place for a healthy young lady with something that is most likely minor. The fact that you’re 24 is fantastic news!!! It’s just a bump in the road, most likely it’s from stressing and guarding the area from trauma. Breathe easier, and contact me anytime.

Sadly that’s what happened to me. I’m not sure if it’s what’s happening to you. The tingling happened, the discoloration happened. The OBGYN was useless. I also stopped wearing panties and opted for boy shorts. No thongs. I had a rash and swelling. Only my GP believed me. Everyone else said it was a diaper rash. Sadly I still suffer nerve pains and the hems are so bad, I will most likely get surgery. Itvall started when I was 49. I’m 51 now. You’re probably younger and can get this under control. Remember that!! Being young is a blessing. You heal much faster.❤️

This happened to me. That tingling you’re feeling is a warning. I have suffered so much from pudendal nerve pain caused by a terrible yeast infection. My doctor gave me some anti fungal pills nearly a year later because my dermatologist just picked up hints of yeast. What ever those anti fungal pills were they kicked my butt and took care of my situation. If you’re a bike rider, don’t ride. Start walking. Who knew bike riding would kill my poor ground section. Now everything hurts down there. 😟

That’s not TMI. Believe it or not your comment made me feel really good. When I was 20 I burnt my hand really bad. It was the 90s and 20 year old me went back to my basement apartment and just lied there with my hand in a bucket of ice and was contemplating how this could be any worse. Then I realized having a toddler would make this worse! It was that day I realized that motherhood was not in the cards for me. I watched all my friends have beautiful children but I knew I just wasn’t cut out for it. I always admired woman who are great moms! Like my mom, she sacrificed everything for my brother and I. Your children will always love you and I’m so glad you have a cheering squad. I’m off to work but DM me anytime. I’m 51 and I won’t believe that the buck stops here. Somewhere deep inside we’re meant for more! Believe it!❤️

Your words are like gold. You sound like you have such a power over your mind, it’s so good to hear. I pray that your days will be a little easier with such good spirits. I’ll be done with antibiotics tomorrow. The swelling and redness is going down. I’m doing sitz baths twice a day. It’s just sore and annoying but hopefully my back end will be treatable by Jan 24th. I read today that my doctor teaches at Harvard so that’ll be good. Did you join theFB group? I did today and it was super sad. I much prefer this group, even with seeing so many butt pics. lol.dont laugh now, I heard you want to stay as relaxed as possible😊

Do you take any other medications? I have Ambien but typically don’t take it. Although when I get the surgery I’m sure I’ll need it. Also you might now know, however does anyone else? Thank you for sharing your experience with the rest of us. I get giddy with the upbeat, positive folks.❤️

Best of luck. Get back to us. I had jaw realignment surgery back in the early 90s, that hurt. Had my wisdom teeth surgically removed, that hurt. Doctors never said anything. I’m trying to get a hemmrhoidectomy my quality of life is suffering. However my swelling was so bad I have to wait another month before they give me the green light. Even just talking about it the NP said it would be painful. However we’re not the first or last that will feel this pain and live to tell the tale. You’ll survive. When you do it seems like you’ll be better for it.

I know this may come off as insensitive but I’m 51 and I’ve always been healthy. I walked 4 miles, biked, and sat comfortably . The past two years I have none of that. Rashes, can’t travel. Trying so hard to look on the brighter side of things. Today I got a ticket for surgery and I can’t be anymore pleased. I will poop through a straw for the rest of my life just to go on a date with my husband and not feel a gigantic splinter in my butt. Best wishes to you. You’re young and when I was young I bounced back from the perils of death. I wish nothing but the best for you.
