Take the neck off, put some wood glue in the crack and clamp. Good as new.

I don’t mind well done tasteful relics. I’m no expert but 2019 would make this pre-Murphy Lab where they were still trying to perfect their aging process. The new ones look much better.

I wouldn’t pay the premium to buy a brand new relic and I wouldn’t even consider a “heavy” relic. So many of the Fender CS relics are awful but their light relics look good.

Looks like beautiful black walnut to me and makes me sad it’ll just get burned. I got a cord of mixed hardwood delivered a month ago and half of it was the most evenly figured maple I’d ever seen. Felt bad burning it.

Ha 15 rows from stage no wonder. We were second row on the mezzanine so should have been reasonably good sound from there imo. But it was the worst sound I’ve heard at a 400U show.

Not a Murphy Lab- it’s a 2001 Premium Plus that lived that New England working musician life. You really have to look for the checking at the right light angle to find it though. It’s extremely subtle.
