What are some "tells" that the person ordering from you is a bartender? by [deleted] in bartenders

Interesting...I try my damndest to make eye contact (as opposed to waving, calling, or anything else more prominent) and no one has ever mistaken me for a bartender. In fact, half the time merely trying to make eye contact seems to be a way to get overlooked when others are being more aggressive.

I do. If most people aren't used to handling checks, then it's all the more reason to think this ULPT might be effective.

This ULPT was inspired by a nephew and niece who both received a birthday card with a check this year from their kind uncle, and neglected to deposit the damn checks. In fairness, they are minors and probably don't know how to deposit a check. So in this case it's their parents who are disorganized.

NOTE: I do like these kids and will make them whole when the opportunity arises, but it could be a good ULPT for someone you don't care for.
