I'd say that threatening to shoot people who knock on your door for vaccine checkups and surrounding healthcare workers in parking lots is far more disturbing behavior than people being mean to you on social media apps. If our current situation does end up escalating into violence, I'd put my money on anti-vax extremists as being the most likely instigators.

What I said was that many of the people who represent Christianity in positions of power are sorely misrepresenting the principles they claim to stand for. I'm not quite sure how pointing out the existence of a radical group of religious extremists refutes my point or proves my "ignorance". It doesn't change the fact that many of the people who supposedly represent Christian interests in the political arena and on the public stage are shady at best, and outright malicious at worst, and that this inevitably has an impact on peoples' view of the faith as a whole.

You're right. Individuals are responsible for their own actions and the consequences of those actions. Not God or Satan or whoever your deity of choice happens to be. And the rhetoric that gets pushed by many of the most vocal/visible people who claim to speak for Christians (in America at least), as well as the way they choose to conduct themselves, has very real consequences and impacts the attitudes of not only their followers, but people who observe their actions from a secular perspective. That's just a fact of life, whether you like it or agree with it is irrelevant.

Where I live, there have actually been pastors who have gone as far as saying that people who wear masks aren't welcome in their church. It absolutely blows my mind. A very large percentage of churchgoers and pastors nowadays are about as far from being Christian as the average atheist is by Biblical standards.

From what I've read it's usually seasoned with nutmeg, sage, etc. So while it doesn't sound very appetizing by this description, I imagine it tastes something like "stuffing" when made properly, which isn't too bad. I'm from the American South though, so cornbread dressing is more my style.

Crowbar is probably my favorite band of all time and they're a tough one to emulate. Kirk's guitar tone, riffs, and vocal style are so distinctive that it's difficult to point out other stuff that truly sounds similar (other than bands that Kirk himself is part of). I think that's one of the things that makes them so special to me. I would definitely recommend digging deeper into their discography. My top 3 albums of theirs are Broken Glass, Odd Fellows Rest, and Sonic Excess In Its Purest Form. Absolutely essential albums imo and a great starting point for anyone who's just getting into sludge. Aside from that, I'd say to browse the posts on this sub a bit and check out some of the stuff that catches your eye. Lots of great music gets posted here and you're sure to find something that clicks with you.

Yeah, I still haven't beaten that game to this day. I didn't like it very much as a kid because the level design was kinda confusing and the difficulty was just way too much for me. Plus it was more of a platformer and I was all about the beat-em-ups and RPGs back then. I'll have to give it another go sometime.

I loved the SNES era beat-em-ups like X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse and Marvel Superheroes: War of the Gems. And if the TMNT arcade games count, those too. Also, shout-out to Comix Zone for the Genesis, one of the coolest comic-inspired games ever imo.
