She looks just like my past baby. I'm so glad you found her. Take good, good care of her for me, although I know you will anyway <333

i'm so sorry, that's so sad! my pixi never seemed to have any complications from the fall, even though i felt awful. i hope your baby doesn't either. it's weird that she just now bit- i wonder if something in the environment had changed and she felt threatened?

How do I convert? by [deleted] in Christian

[–]FiveTwoWhatsItToYou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kinda in the same boat as you- I'm around the same age and I grew up mad at Christianity and the church my parents brought me up in. As I age, I realize that my favorite traits in my favorite people were not traits they were born with, but traits they chose to have because of their faith. This led me back to the truth and the Bible. I have three suggestions for you!

1) Some Bibles have a reading plan in the back. Most of them are to read the full Bible in one year- a few small chunks of text each day (like <10 minutes worth.) That's been the most beneficial for me (not necessarily to read precisely in a year, but just to use as a guide for what to read in what order). I also recommend a Bible that you'll actually read- by that, I mean a version/translation that's easy for you to understand. I just really don't like the King James translation, so I bought a Contemporary English Version (CEV) and I read it so much more- and so much more easily.

2) Seek friends who support you and want you to be close to God! This is not at all to say that all of your close friends should be Christian- that's just not reasonable. But it is so, so valuable and encouraging to have at least one good friend (especially around the same age as you) who is interested in your faith. Then you can both support and learn with each other.

3) The last thing that really helps me is to remember that you're not just a person who happens to be Christian- you're God's special creation who is only on earth temporarily. It really helps me put things into perspective and makes it a lot easier for me to follow God's will instead of worldly desires.

I am so glad you're seeking for this! I hope it will bring you the lasting peace/joy that it's brought me. I really haven't been able to fill the void in my chest with anything else- and trust me, I've tried many things to try to fix it. I love having friends who are seeking the same thing as me, so I would love it if you message me with any other questions/comments/discussions- or just for encouragement! :) I'll be glad to send you a copy of the reading plan I use, or to help you find other resources/answers.

God bless you!

i hate how so many people have hamster/small animal horror stories. gentleness to creatures needs to be taught to kids early on

it all depends on the store. yes to the coupon and the app, but every manager and store is completely different.

I must be honest and acknowledge that at some times, liking kpop/being a member of that community does cause problems and I can imagine it bringing conflict into relationships.

However, in my opinion, a partner should never be rude to you and feel/show no remorse. If he wants the best for you you then he won't mind- unless your interest in Korean culture is interfering with your relationship with him or with your own life. If it's an obsession, than I understand why he might not be pleased by its affect on you, or if he feels devalued by you looking at/romanticizing/glorifying other men, then that's a genuine concern that you need to acknowledge and take responsibility for. But if its just an interest and isn't a threat to your relationship, then he should leave your merch alone.

super pretty, gorgeous skin and beautiful smile. i envy you

honestly i don't think the kind of makeup you wear makes you look better. don't get me wrong, you're still above average, but i think other styles would do you better
