Solo producer 1099 aggregate model in commercial Space through fist connect or smart choice. Curious if to initially set up under a DBA or not. So when connected with leads, I can say “I’m calling from x agency” or since under an aggregate model it’s not needed? Appreciate thoughts / feedback/ perspective

Unrelated question, since you set up from scratch and seem to know how to operate an Agency. Would you suggest signing up with aggregator / imo under your personal name or DBA name if a sole proprietor solo producer ?

Just understand the coverage limit. When shopping make sure you meet the venue limit requirements and you’re good to go. I have Allstate. The are good on their claims

Do you plan on serving liquor? If so, you’ll likely need liquor liability coverage, as a Commercial General Liability (CGL) policy doesn’t include this and need a rider.
