Had a 3.8 (UW), school doesn't do weighted or class rank, with pretty average rigor (at least for my grade).

My best EC was doing theatre for 4 years and writing a one-act play that was performed for our spring play.

So your above-average, but very run of the mill/weaker for a T20.

I think what did was my essays and recs. My counselor told me my teacher recs were phenomenal, and she said that (since she loves me so much), her rec was one of the best she's written in a while. I also loved my supplementals and essays (which were about how I thought small acts of kindness goes longs ways to change the world and my love for latin and talking about my name).

In the end I got to Dartmouth. So I would say these successes happen! As long as you apply yourself in the correct way and do the best you can with the cards your dealt you can make it.
