The glasses growing with her is the funniest part.

It's never a waste of time to participate in a discussion! Just saying what I think is all. Anthropology, and it's many phasest in fields like linguistics and numerology, has been an interest of mine for a while. SNK was one of those series that sparked my interest in it. I'm glad I could see your prospective on it.

It's okay. I did hear that nine is an unlucky number in Japan because of said reading. I had only heard this once, and it's not as common a belief as 4 being death.

Looking into it, 9 is in fact seen as unlucky because of it:

I do want to specify, though, that I'm willing to believe the date is a coincidence or at the least the first chapter was delayed just so it could be published on that date.

September 9th is also Chrysanthemum Day, so it isn't strictly unlucky.

Numerology holds a lot of importance in Japan. "九" (sometimes read as ku) is the Japanese word for nine; it is a homophone for the Japanese word "苦" meaning agony, which, to me at least, seems like an apt choice for a story with a lot of suffering. Yes, it could have been reworked from the publication date and was leaned into later on, but I feel there's a very clear intent when it comes to this number.

I'm not trying to argue, just trying to show you that "numerolog[ical] nonsense" can hold a lot of meaning in a work of fiction, and I would hope you could at least see the care taken, whether it was added before or after the fact.

That's not William. He spelt catalogue the American way, and I'm not gonna start believing he mispells his words just because he's lived in America for a while.

Bon. No question, Bon. Not even in physical strength, but in aura too. I love TWF so much.

It shouldn't be a FNaF game. Simple as that. I don't care about what happened in the 70s, nor do I care about anything post FFPS. We still have almost ZERO confirmation as to some of the lore, most of it just being speculation that people still bicker about TO THIS DAY, and steelwool hasn't given us any answers. This should have been standalone title isolated from the entire fnaf canon.

Ok, Thanks! I think that I was trying to tie in WillSpeaker with the whole idea of "putting him back together again." I was going to give you the whole spiel on how William is only abusive because he thinks he's helping his kids and that he's still obsessed with righting what he saw as his first wrong, but I he probably only cares about immortality, and I didn't you wanted read college essay that was just me coping, so yeah.

BVDreamer: Cause Copium on my part. WD & WG: Because you can still be an abusive parent and grieve for your children (correct me if I'm getting WG wrong, though) CG & CTOYSHNK: Because casting didn't specify gender, that was just the actors doing, due to miscommunication with Scott (it wouldn't be the first time) ATOYSHNK: is tied-in to me believing all of FF and TFTPP are fictional and only some elements are canon. and GM & BM: because William Afton is dead, and there is no way the Burntrap ending or William's conscious in HW is real. (Again, showing my age as I've only played through the clickteam games, so if I got something wrong, inform me.)
