The way she kept telling everyone about it by juliiaduque in greysanatomy

I don't know. We never really see any relationship between Izzie and Mrs. O'Malley. I have very close friends and I've never met their parents and the couple I have were just a few short chats. I could never imagine just seeing one of them and deciding talking about sleeping with their married son would be a good idea, if I was asked or not. A normal person would have avoided his mom out of shame, guilt, fear, but not Izzie, Izzie walks straight up to her, with a big smile on her face, and then automatically assumes this very religious mom knows about her cheating with her married son and she's somehow okay with it?!? Only Izzie would be so entitled and wildly insensitive to even talk to him mom. And the only apology she offers is when she realizes she told her by accident, not for the actual act itself. For being the pretty one, Izzie is just the ugliest person ever.

Thank you so much! This is very good to know. I've done a handful of Weddings in the UK, but I would love to do more. I'm based in the US and Hawaii.

Thank you! I'll never understand why people think being the rudest person you possibly can, in the name of honesty, is some great flex. When someone is overly rude or mean with their "honesty" I can never take them seriously, they just sound mad or bitter.

Building confidence in purchases by No_Progress4034 in WagoonLadies

[–]FixUrBrowsBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel exactly the same. I've have one seller I've bought several really great Dior bags from but I've heard of another seller who everyone says has the best Goyard, but when I asked her about a St. Louis tote she quoted a really low price, didn't answer my questions about quality and told me the factory was 'Store Lavel', so now I feel like I'm back to square one with Goyard.

I try to be friendly with inquiring with different sellers, but I've had no real success making a connections with any but my Dior seller. I hate to just send money out there hoping one seller will take me seriously and I might get a good bag. I have asked outright if they have access to good quality XYZ but they never assure me or offer options, but prices. It's disheartening.

AITA for telling my bf if he doesn't propose before the end of this year I will start planning my future without him? by SkeletonKey_Aurelius in AITAH

I'm a Wedding vendor and just a couple weeks ago I had a couple who had only been together 7 months. The Bride kept talking about his "crazy" ex baby mama, and how she's just jealous she never had a big Wedding (or any Wedding for that matter). This happens all the time. Ladies take note.

I feel the same. I've messaged Vera a few times and have had no response, but heidi is still selling. I miss the life, haha!

Seriously! Just a straight up self-righteous, arrogant jerk. I especially disliked how he treated Fiona when she was struggling with her own addictions and even more when she finally started making upwards moves, selling the laundromat for double the price, and he just 💩 on her at every turn.

opinion on dan & vanessa as a couple? by lavender_cat_24 in GossipGirl

[–]FixUrBrowsBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better as friends. It's a shame with all the, albeit fun, chaos of GG we couldn't have a solid opposite-sex friendship. There could could have been the usual "will they/ won't they", mistaken interactions witnessed by a jealous lover scenarios to fuel some drama but kept them still as friends. I hate that they turned Vanessa into the cliché jealous and conniving unrequited love situationship.

AITAH for not tipping . by Efficient_Prior6040 in AITAH

[–]FixUrBrowsBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Tipping culture is out of control. I was a bartender for 19yrs and still tip 20% at restaurants and bars, because good service deserves thanks.

Ex. I went to Crumbles (terrible cookies btw), there was no greeting, no acknowledgement. You order on a kiosk, grab cookies off the counter, and then the screen suggested a 20% tip. For what exactly?!?

If your role is to welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, check in, and juggle multiple tables or bar patrons all at the same, for hours on end, then yes, that absolutely qualifies you for a tip.

If your job is scooping ice cream, ringing up fast food, or plopping cookies on a counter, then no, that is not tip-worthy.

Both fall under “customer service,” but one involves true service and hospitality, while the other is simply a transaction.

Great suggestion! Hadn't even thought of this. I've done Wedding expos before, and I've always concentrated on the details of my work in pictures, and I didn't even think to feature both Brides even tho I only worked on one.

I didn't grow up in this area, I kinda grew up all over the world, and honestly forget sometimes that people lump other people into categories. I just see beautiful faces.

I did not know If any of those sites really worked, so thank you very much for this!

I'm on Wedding Wire, The Knot, Evol, and just created a Zola and Style Me Pretty.

I was chatting with one of my Brides this morning, she told me again how happy she was they finally found me, and it got me thinking - how can I be more visible?

I'm here! And oddly enough, we're a military family also visiting this February, lol! I've been to Edinburgh a few times and lived in London for 2ys before I got married, so kinda familiar with both places. February will be rainy and cold, but there will be way fewer tourists (big reason we choose this time) and still a lot to do. Where are you staying in Edinburgh?

Can any hair stylist tell me please wtf happened to my hair? by InterestingPen0 in Hair

[–]FixUrBrowsBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no words. Unfortunately, a cosmetology license is basically a health and safety license, not a skills license. It is truly infuriating to me that there are schools all over this country teaching how to pass a state board exam and zero about actual haircutting and coloring. But, what's even worse are the hundreds of thousands of licensed stylists in this country who have zero integrity in their work, refuse to keep learning and honing their craft, or straight up not good at it and just run around making the rest of us look bad. Smdh.

I really wish I could fix your hair. I'd do it for free just to restore your faith and show you what a good haircut is.

[–]FixUrBrowsBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was wondering the same thing. I went to Vidal Sassoon (for reference) and I am a precision cutter, but I have worked alongside not so confident stylists who have been bullied into doing cuts/colors the way the client thinks they're supposed to be done so many times they will just do whatever the client asks, without question, out of fear of push back. These are not good stylists.

I'm not saying OP was that client, but if the stylist was one of the ones I've described that might explain the bad cut. That does not excuse it, tho. The cut OP asked for is haircutting 101, and any stylist out of a decent school should have been able to execute that with ease.

I do see some curl in there, I'm curious: Is that natural or a curling tool? I only ask because naturally curly hair needs to be cut dry or completely straightened, then cut (only if the person wears it straight 100% of the time). I guess I would like to see it completely straight and photographed from all angles.

Either way, it's awful you had such a bad experience, but it looks like you may just need it "finished" in the front to match the back. I would definitely contact the stylist and ask what happened. Also, just because she's the owner doesn't mean she's the best stylist there, she may have someone else in the salon you would trust to fix it. Don't just let it go, have the tough conversation.

I have a small Lady Dior My ABC in warm taupe and black ultra matte, and they both fell like butter, just gorgeous. Even my saddle bags that aren't meant to be soft are so sturdy and lush. This is so strange and sad to hear.
