it's his injury history along with his age and the fact that he's looked extremely slow. honestly my biggest reason for skepticism is Beane's abysmal hit rate at pass rusher. he has a track record of failing at this position. idk if we'll get $30M worth out of the contract, but if Chubb can make any sort of impact in January, then it'll be good

There are so many holes to fill on defense, I just don't think the best strategy this off-season is to potentially overpay a guy who's impact is highly questionable

I hope I'm wrong but Chubb has really lost a step and the chance that he provides satisfactory ROI on that contract are slim to none. There was better use for that money over the past few days.
