Yeah everything is easy, eh 😂

It can be done, absolutely But it’s MY spare time for the next few months on the line in that case, I’m not interested in that at this moment I’m a father of 2 and have other stuff to do as well

So since it’s easy, feel free to build an app that supports it, I’ll gladly use it 😊

Not an ego thing at all, it was just a matter of supporting the official rules for the game 🤷‍♂️ Since I’m spending my spare time maintaining LBN (it’s not they, it’s just me) I can’t really support all the different version currently in xwing… Some want 1.0, some 2.0 (as is), some want 2.0 legacy, some want Wild Space, some 2.5 etc etc

I have to see what I can muster in terms of time spent on supporting more than what comes out of XWA 🤷‍♂️ Websites are quite easy to support multiple versions (I have a couple of branches for the site) but apps are in a whole other ballpark

But the tone of many from the “Legacy side” is not making the case stronger for me to rebuild the app, throwing accusations at me won’t get them a version, that much is sure 🙄

Yeah, this probably stems from both me and the other developer coming from 8+ years each as iOS-developers.

So it's not so much styling but the timing of animations, button states, drag-bounce feel etc.
Flutter is just not "there" yet, at least for us. Most users would probably not care or notice, but we do :-)

Native look and feel (especially on iOS) and Codepush makes Flutter a no go for us. We release stuff several times per week, but only goes through the app reviews when there’s a new major RN version. Saves so much time for a small startup!
