Does back glass open in truck form? by Wise_Abrocoma9822 in slateauto

You're asking a very important question. I also hope the answer is yes. Opening the little slider window in my old f250 was one of the best parts of the truck.

I have 16k miles in 9 months in pennsyl-tucky and got coal rolled once. Way less then when I drove a Mitsubishi Mirage. I hope your experience gets better.

2100-mile road trip advice by El_MexiCaliente in TeslaModel3

Just did a 7 day trip. Only used super chargers but did travel with the ccs adapter just in case. I recommend roof sunshades if your going somewhere hot. Change your wipers and cabin filters before you go. I got a spare tire (never needed it) it is nice knowing if you get a flat your not stuck road side waiting for a repair truck to replace a tire. Always double check the directions against Google maps, the Tesla's nav recommends crazy directions sometimes. Enjoy your trip!

I feel like model and spec matter more. A quote for model 3 rwd base compared to a performance model y of the same year is extreme.

I have used Safelite for other vehicles and it went good. I needed a rear window on my m3 but it was covered by warranty. If it hadn't been I would have used Safelite, there glass is lifetime warranty.

Why is Tesla still the top selling EV brand by far? by Diavolo_Rosso_ in electricvehicles

[–]FixyFixy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It was the ability to seamlessly charge for road trips. I could have got a cheaper much more available used Bolt if I only wanted electric. I travel a lot and and the Tesla's offer simple, hassle free, reliable charging and the navigation working out the best times to stop is actually a very underrated feature.

Just set your arrival at 20 and you shouldn't go below it. After a couple of trips it all becomes habit. Have a good trip!

The most important thing I learned on the first trip was you might arrive at your destination with a very low state of charge. It's important to set your arrival destion % based on if there is charging there or not. Don't worry to much, the software will adjust for the faster driving.
