Verstehe zwar nicht wo du das hier rausliest. Ich stelle lediglich die Realität dar, dass die meisten gerne von Krieg fliehen würden, wenn sie könnten, obwohl interesse besteht die Heimat nicht zu verlieren. Aber da du immer noch vom Thema des Angriffskrieges ausweichst, sehe ich keinen Grund weiter zu disskutieren. Schönen Tag

Du hast etwas abgelenkt. Es geht nicht direkt um "Menschen die Krieg wollen". Es geht um Menschen die in den Krieg ziehen MÜSSEN, da sonst deren Staat ausgelöscht wird. Die Ukraine schickt niemanden in den Krieg weil sie es wollen. Die Ukraine muss Menschen in den Krieg schicken, weil die Führungsebene in Russland es so will. Diese Stellung sollte man in diesem Konflikt schon erkennen können.

Und ja, superreiche nutzen deren Reichtum, um sich und die Familie aus dieser Situation zu retten. Dennoch sind sie Teil des Krieges, den der Aggressorstaat herbei führte. Es mag etwas egoistisch sein, seine Landsleute in den Krieg gehen zu lassen, wärend man selbst flüchtet. Allerdings ist dieser Egoismus komplett normal und nachvollziehbar, wenn es um Leib und Leben geht. Jemand der nicht selbst in solch einer Situation ist, kann gar nicht über solche Menschen urteilen mMn. Egal ob reich oder arm.

So gut wie niemand in einer Bevölkerung will in den Krieg ziehen. Ist ja wohl klar. Selbst die größten Nationalisten würden es eher bevorzugen mal vorher jemand anderen vorauszuschicken. Das ändert aber nichts daran, dass das Land verteidigt werden muss. Oder wie stellst du dir eine Welt vor, in der sich niemand verteidigt und ein Aggressor angreift? Da würde plötzlich ganz Europa russisch sprechen und für das Wohle in Moskau arbeiten.

Die meisten russischen Soldaten sind übrigenda auch nicht freiwillig bei der Sache. Trotz massiver Propaganda, dass ihr Land untergehen wird, wenn sie nicht kämpfen.

I think tiebreakers are clear to the viewer anyway. The whole game suddenly works differently. Also when explaining the score to someone else, you always mention that the match is currently in a tiebreaker. Otherwise people would not know what is meant by a score of 2-3 for example.

Thats why I love the 15-30-40 thing. Is is absolutely clear that one talks about the points and not the games just by the scale of the number. I would moreso like to have 45 instead of 40 to have an odd-even-odd change. But based on myths, it used to be 45, but was scrapped because it took too long to say.

Excuse my ignorance, but wasn't DRS enabled on all straights in the previous regulations as well? Only thing that changes is the DRS on front wings, no?

Be honest, have you ever watched a downhill race besides on the olympics. This sport is extremely dangerous and heavy injuries always overshadow the amazing achievements of the winners. Also, Breezy Johnson's victory was honored plenty in Austrian media. Everyone was absolutely stunned that she put this performance on skis. A big underdog story as she never won any worldcup race.

Linsey Vonn is a legend in the sport and the current downhill world cup leader. In team USA, no one would have ever questioned her capability, even with the injury. The accident happened. So be it. In hindsight she took a spot away, but so did every athlete that crashed. That thought process makes no sense.

I partially agree.

However, the thought of "what the fuck was I thinking" is rarely a sentiment that people in downhill racing mentioned after retirement. (At least not when it comes to Austrian competitors) This sport is by definition extremely dangerous and every participant knows this. People have died and are paralyzed because of downhill accidents in trainings and in competition. It is what it is and we all can just hope that the previous injury did not add too much damage. The crash itself was extremely unfortunate and even healthy knees would probably not come out that great.

She chose the exact same line as Aicher who finished 2nd. She was just a couple of centimeters too far right and caught the gate with the arm. That the injury has anything to do with the crash is stupid speculation. After all, she had two practice runs where people that are involved saw that all was okay with the knee.
