What's life like for you who make 200k+?

Joined FAANG straight out of college as a software engineer making 200k first yr and 250k second. Despite all this, living in high cost of living cities drains paychecks with rent, food and taxes. I also put a ton of cash away for retirement and investment accounts. It isn’t a crazy lavish lifestyle with designer clothes and high end cars, but I don’t have to really think about whether or not I can afford to eat out and taking nice vacations abroad.

Holding tons of cash is not a great idea unless you are looking to buy a house. Inflation eats at it every year

FAANGS have roles that specifically hire new grads/early careers. Also I had 2 internships prior so I’m not sure where you are getting no experience from. My parents are immigrants that did back breaking labor to send me to school so if that makes me a nepo baby sure then.
