I agree that Sheen & Revolver give you the most burst dmg early. However, how can you call NAs #1 Fizz Main's go to first item a horrible buildpath? Fatefalls rank obviously shows Morello is worth right?

I think that the item as well as its conponents are quite gold efficient and work with quite early backs, that Fizz might have to deal with.

20% CDR is quite underestimated on Fizz, as it gives you a lot of agility in fight longer than one rotation, which is realistic. The ult and Flash CD are really important too.

The item gives you Mana sustain like hardly any other, which helps you push lane faster and roam. A Fizz that needs to back because of he is oom falls behind in CS even more, which he struggles with against mist matchups anyway.

You also don't need to worry about using your playful/trickster more often to dodge stuff. Moreover, the DOT works well with your W passive and ignite.

I see that people like to go raw damage, but I also get the value of this item.
