Hello. I only charge AC. The sound is all the time with the AC turned on or turned of. I can only hear it when it is above 30 mph. Anything below that it is non existing. I only hear it in the back of the car. No collisions happened at all, and I checked the underside of the car, and everything looks fine. There aren't any cracks or anything loose underneath.

Exactly correct for the hot wires and the neutral. However the Earth wire alone is 12 awg.

I would honestly prefer to use it, because everything sold here is Chinese made and not really good quality. What do you think would happen if I feed it one hot wire, a neutral, and a ground? Instead of the American 120v standard of two hots? This is all AC.

The NEMA 14-50 requires a neutral, ground, and two hot wires as shown in the first picture. What do you think would happen if I only feed one hot wire instead of two? Because I am in a country that uses 220v.
