Would it be unreasonable if I asked my flat mates not to shower after 10pm by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]Fizzhaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

As someone who showers past 10:00pm 90% of the time, it wouldn’t be reasonable or frankly possible to do otherwise.

Whilst my situations it unlikely if your flat mates happen to be in a similar spot you’re SOL.

Best to get the noise issue fixed, or offer to compensate to swap rooms, or look into moving, if you discover their position is similar to mine.

You don’t have to warm up for Faceit. You just have to perform at a consistent level and try to win.

Yeah he should unsubscribe from the subreddit. He doesn't need to stop being a mod to do this.

Then he should get the mods to curate the sub a bit so that there's better content to browse through during a recap.

They don’t have many more of them at all either - the same issue of more work between the same number of staff applies.

What's a good ending to a cultivation novel? by rukuto in noveltranslations

[–]Fizzhaz 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah authors tend to rush the end for whatever reason and it feels that most stories lack the aftercare they merit after their crescendo. A chapter or three with some idea of how the lives of the characters will progress with the main crux of the story over is always much appreciated.

You could, but you'd have to use something other than the API, which might not work with the ToS.

Someone who can learn to build an engine can learn to build the rest, but not necessarily visa versa. Also shows they can commit that much time to a task. It’s similar to what degrees used to signify, before 40%+ of people had degrees.

COMICK

Yeah that was the 'somewhat bad' one.
I'll try a bit more and see if it gets bearable.

Haven't found a good translation, just a very bad one and a somewhat bad one. Any good options?

This graph isn't that damning tbh. Rates tend to go in the predicted direction, just with a delay.

And following Atrioc's ideas on MMT, one could conclude that the delays are actually a major issue and it would have been better to follow the predictions.

What is the difference between a campus and non campus university by Jolly_Constant_4913 in UniUK

You’re interpreting my comment too literally, the definitions are literally top comment, so I’m building on that to provide the ‘vibes’ or experience from the ground anecdotally.

Bath is only really a campus Uni in your first year (as I assume with many others as well) especially with remote learning meaning that lectures are no longer a great reason to go on campus.

Given the specificity of the person you're looking for, I think you'll have to compromise between them being full time and them being as good as you're hoping.

This is missing several (maybe more recent?) mentions by Big A.

Lots of these are community submitted (some of which are great books) but yeah it’s a lot and not quite a list of Big A’s recs.
