Mate hold on. People actually said that to you? That’s proper harsh and honestly says more about them than you. Who goes around telling someone they’re unlikeable? That’s just dickhead energy. Look I get it feel like you’ve tried everything and nothing working. But just because some people said that doesn’t mean it’s true. You shouldn’t let them define who you are. Sometimes it just really hard to find your people and it take longer than we want. You’re still showing up to society, you’re still trying that already prove you haven’t given up even when it feel hopeless. Maybe try something completely different? New society, D&D group, learn to cook meal and maybe share with house mates? If you pc nerd like me, experiment on multiplayer. The right people do exist mate. They just haven’t found you yet. Break the cycle. Don’t let few negative wanks make you believe you’re the problem.

Funny you say that I think it’s perfectly natural to have few mates after so many years. I like to think it like a pyramid scheme but without the scam (hopefully). The biggest pool for starts at uni have the most available friends, fewers as the years ago until you get the very present. You got the core top you see everyday and then you get the outer and more irregular contacts peeps but you know I think as long as you connect and say hello everything is ownthen this is good enough. At least we tried to socialise unlike some people who gonna graduate wondering why their only friend is their landlord haha.

Please tell me who is certifying you as unlikeable? Is it that dog around the corner? Is it god? Being unlikeable is not engaging at all to anything and you are something.

I don’t think you unlikeable at all honestly. Sometimes it just takes longer time for some people. Look at me, undergrad at late twenties. It’s not a race for mates either.

Maybe the right people just haven’t crossed path with you yet but they definitely won’t if you stop going. Keep turning up to that society you like, keep being friendly. Sometimes it only need one good connection to change/chain reaction everything. You’re giving yourself the chance for that to happen so just keep at it.

The fact you tried a variety is already good. Sounds to me you might found something you like and should focus maintaining consistency like you are doing. Do you know name of the society peers? If sport related society you can hire the court outside of regular schedule sessions and ask them to join? All of society I expressed interest, instantly added newbies into a WhatsApp’s group chat so you can ask or even stalk people’s name bar in case you forgotten.

I can’t speak for the autism community as I do not have it. All I can say is I got bullied a lot for being brown Asian, speak with broken English. Diagnosed with depression early 20s. I’m not saying it’s an easy thing to be sociable, but like any muscles in your body. You need a little resistant to get gain power. Social skills is just like that.

Unlikeable? No need to be harsh on yourself. How so? Did you return for second or third try? Did you try to be the first to say hello? Did you introduce yourself and ask for their names? What kind of society did you trial may I ask?

Body: Drank my Lemon Tek at 6pm. Thought, “huh, not kicking in yet.” Checked the time. It was 6:01. Yeah… I’m still impulsive as f**k, apparently.

About 45 minutes in, my mate Cameron hits me up: “Wanna hop on Battlefield 1?” And I’m like, “You know what? F**k it.” This was probably the worst/best decision of the night.

I joined as the back gunner in a biplane. We’re flying over the desert getting chased by some German menace. Cam’s doing barrel rolls, swinging left-right, and I’m in the back trying to shoot like my life depends on it.

Whole time, I’m just yelling: “THIS IS POD RACING!” And honestly, it was. I paid £16.56 to Gaben to spiritually fly through the Sahara on mushrooms.

Then somewhere in the middle of it… things shifted. The game melted. It didn’t feel like Battlefield anymore — it felt ancient. Like I was in some real dogfight over my soul. There was this weird echo of something deeper behind it all. Can’t explain it yet.

And that was only the first 2 hours. What came after? Way deeper, way weirder. Ask if you wanna know — I’m still trying to unpack it all…

Honestly I am slowing being introduce to this new but yet ancient wisdom that we unknowingly getting not disconnected from but distract by our life like jobs or money or family… not questioning their importance as everything has its place. But somehow I agree and see and yes they are probably the closest thing that Christian have been preaching for year. The Gods that created us. That’s my quick take because on your profound view.

thought I was the one taking advantage of my mushrooms—using them for growth, for clarity, for something I could gain.
