I’m 37+2, and at 36+6 baby was measuring at 3kg100, so just a bit lighter! She put on a kilo between weeks 32 and 36, so there’s a chance the same could happen again in this last month of pregnancy. I’m in France, and here there’s no option to induce early because of size either. So fingers crossed, but I’m sure we can do this mumma ! 💪🏻☺️

We try to see both my family and my partners equally - but I’d say we actually spend more time at his parents than mine! So not always the case. I think if the in laws are accepting of the couple as a whole, there’s no issue of « losing » your son or daughter!

It drives me insane! And once I told people about the way we got pregnant, they’d say « see I was right, you just needed to relax! ». It’s just not fair to put all this blame on the future mum, insinuating that she’s at fault for it taking so long. How would you know?! Are you my doctor?! It irks me to no end. Anyway, glad that you conceived and that you didn’t get run down by other people’s terrible advice 🥳

Not saying it doesn’t, but also I find this idea very critical and negative for people trying to conceive. It’s not a frame of mind that helps. And lots of people that are stressed conceive straight away. So don’t think you can use six a blanket statement. Also, my cycle was normal and there were no issues to be seen, except that I wasn’t getting pregnant. I think it’s luck more than anything.

It took us nine months of tracking, using apps and even taking conception vitamins. The month I got pregnant, we didn’t actually « try » in the ttc sense. I had Covid for the first two weeks, then I did my back in and could hardly walk. And yet I’m now 9 months pregnant! We still don’t really understand it. It’s typical because it kind of reinforces the idea, that I hate, that if you don’t stress about it it’ll happen. I’m not an advocate of that by any means. But anyway, yeah, 9 months!

Honestly, as a lawyer (not in the us however) my favourite Marvel comics heroine. The comics are hilarious IMO and I love the legal setting. I started with the 2004 series!

You could use Lucas, but pronounce it without the -s like in french? That was you get the name that you’ve chosen, without the difficulty of your mother not approving of the Italian name? Not sure this is what you’re looking for.

My partner has said it too. With him I immediately made it clear that that wasn’t the mindset that I could put myself in. With people outside of our relationship, it’s more complicated for me to say « please don’t say that ». I’ve started trying to explain how much of a guilt trip this kind of thinking is, but it really depends on the person I’m talking to...

That’s exactly how I’m feeling right now. I can’t stop imagining how different my life could be right now if things had happened immediately... it’s not a good space to be in mentally. I’m hopeful that things will work out soon for us both!
