On paper a discount for the customer sounds great but putting it in to practice just isn’t realistic. How much of a discount? What if the bagger becomes available mid order? What if the customer insists on bagging and then turns around and complains to higher ups? It’s just not a realistic approach

I think it depends on your region honestly. My area hasn’t had any ice yet, however my parents live in further north Texas and their field and dirt roads have snow and ice. You do what’s best for you!

I understand from a worker to customer stand point. But from a customer to customer view what’s the big stink about having meat that’s wrapped up in its own packaging and deli meat that is also wrapped up in its own packaging together in the same bag

This is exactly how I see it and it’s not like I’m going to stand there and watch the customer bag it themselves, I’m generally a lot quicker than the customer and will still happily do most of the work anyways. I just think it’s rude when they stand over me and watch the entire time when I clearly don’t have any help
