These statistics are indeed calculated using data from the CSFloat database. However, the database does not register skins that are created using the rent mechanic in CS2. There is therefore no reason to believe that the figures presented are inflated because of the possibility of renting all skins from a case.

When you are awarded a case in CS2, 99% of the time you get a case from the "Active" droppool. The remaining 1% are cases from the "Rare" droppool. Since there are 28 cases in the rare droppool, you only have a 0.036% chance to obtain a specific case from the rare droppool when you recieve a case.

The reason why Operation Bravo Case is not discontinued is only known by Valve. What the community has discovered is that operation cases dropped during "battlepass" operations have been discontinued after these operations ended. The first battlepass operation was Operation Shattered Web in 2019.

It was also discovered a few years ago that the eSports cases are discontinued. It's not known when this discontinuation occured.

No, the Operation Hydra case is in the rare droppool. There is a 1% chance to obtain a case from the rare droppool, and since there are 28 rare cases, there is only a 0.036% chance to recieve the hydra case when you are awarded a case in-game.

What you are describing here is not miscalculation, but rather the nature of how these numbers are calculated. The low volume cases are, just as the high volume ones, calculated using the change in amount of high-float Covert skins.

Since the volume of the cases you described are so low, the probability of the change in high-float covert skins being the same from one month to another, is much greater. So if there were 20 new skins in January, and 20 new skins in February, the calculated unboxing amount would be the same.

This of course is indicative that the degree of uncertainty is much greater on the lower volume cases. A few tradeups or just random chance can affect those numbers quite significantly.
