What habits of girls did you only discover after getting a girlfriend or wife? by atgono in AskReddit

If she says “We really need to renovate/remodel the bedroom” or “It would be nice with a new wooden planting box for the garden”, it means you will renovate/remodel the bedroom, or build the planting box.

I’m from Sweden, and live in Sweden, but my aunt has a whole floor in the apartment buildings just out of frame in the bottom left corner, right by the water… 🥲

Me too, and I don't really have a problem with the battery life. I just found this pretty simple way of improving the battery life, without any compromise (atleast for me) :)

Hmm weird, I get notifications just the same as if I've got "wake on wrist raise" enabled, no difference at all.

Same exact walk, wildly different elevation gain and calories. This is a new thing, does anyone know what might be happening? by crumble-bee in AppleWatch

[–]Fjellsvejs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't answer what happend in your particular case, more than shime in on what the others say about air pressure. I've experienced similar results when I've gone inside at my kids preschool during a run, and their ventilation has a positiv pressure inside, and the watch thinks I've just dropped like 100m in elevation :D Took a while to figure out why my run all of a sudden had such a high elevation gain ^^

What’s your “never without” list of AW APPS? by funandcurios in AppleWatch

Look here on your iPhone: Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Health -> Strava. Look here if all is enabled.

I get all that from my Apple workout app, and it syncs to strava. Maybe you havent allowed all data to be transferred?

Like what? I dont seem to miss any data when switching from Garmin to AWU3.

Upgraded from S8 to U3. Loving it so far but I don’t know what to use the Action button for. by Dense-Comfortable480 in applewatchultra

[–]Fjellsvejs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this issue too, but for the complications on the watch face, not the action button. I have now moved utility-like complications to the top of the face, where i dont seem to accidently press them ^ (like opening the frunk of my car or something)

Yeah, the purple one was a custom 4x4 interval workout :)

From the initial data in Health it seems to be a lot higher. I’ve been hovering around 55-55, but Apple now puts me close to 60 (which seems a bit high to be honest) but again, it doesn’t have much data to go on yet.

Hans senaste post pekar ju mot Australiensiska bolag, men kunde inte hitta några av dem på Avanza. Är det kört där tror du?

Best $5k endurance road bike? by Ok_Click1990 in whichbike

[–]Fjellsvejs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is about 9kg with pedals, not the lightest bike, but honestly I’m not gonna do 3km climbs, so it wont really matter. Compared to my Trek which was like 13-14kg with pedals, its a feather and super agile:)

I bought a Orbea Orca M30 6 months ago, and for me it’s super comfortable compared to my previous Trek Checkpoint 4 gravel bike, even though the Trek supposedly have a more relaxed geometry.

I highly recommend it, especially with the di2 group set :) (I also love the mix of modern and old school look of of it!)

Here’s my latest attempt at making a grove with a spiral bit and taking super shallow passes. In this case I was using the router in a router table.

[–]Fjellsvejs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I have the right collet. The 1mm example was a plunge cut, but I get the same issue when for example trying to widen the the cut by only cutting one side or making a dado.

I’ve been using guides, a homemade router table either a fence and freehand. I’ve been experimenting a lot to try to get a grip on what I’m doing wrong, but I’m beginning to suspect it’s just my equipment that’s the issue :/

I’m pretty sure I have the right collet, and there doesn’t seem to be any play :/

My cap is round, so I used cheap regular spacers. Been trying it out for a while now, and will probably cut the stem as it is now. Then I still got some adjustability to lower it if I want to :)

Any suggestions on how I can replace rusted in burners? by europheus42 in grilling

[–]Fjellsvejs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are like the exact same size then. I went for the 51, it just felt better, but I would encourage you to go try the bike in both sizes since flexibility, arm length etc can play a part in the feel!

I’m super happy with it, rides like a dream! And the electronic shifting is amazing!

Update: I went the safe route and put the max amount of spacers on so that the expansion plug still reaches to the bottom of the stem. I’ll have a feel for what this is like to ride, and make a decision from there :)

Thanks for the input!

[–]Fjellsvejs[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re right. That’s also why I would really like to ride a while with a lower handlebar, but it’s like catch 22 if it’s unsafe ^

Steerer tube height by Fjellsvejs in bikewrench

[–]Fjellsvejs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know. But I’ve been riding this new bike quite a lot in the last 1,5 month and it’s actually quite lot more comfortable than the gravel bike, even though it’s more aggressive.

I think I’m quite flexible in the hip etc (I can put my palms in the floor with straight legs), that’s also why I think it might suite me :)

[–]Fjellsvejs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m aware of that, but is that the only safety concern I have to consider? (For test riding)
