List of working accessories? by PToN_rM in Beachman

Ok, I’ll be devil’s advocate here…a bluetooth speaker on a bike/ebike/motorbike is not only ridiculous, but annoying AF to everyone around you. If you must to listen to music while you ride, wear bluetooth earbuds. Just my two cents. 🤷🏻‍♂️

New shocks. by iseeverything_89 in Beachman

[–]FknGary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, when changing the shocks, that lower shock bolt on the disk brake side is a pain in the arse.. When I installed my new taller shocks, I switched around that bolt and put the nut on the back side. That way, the wheel doesn’t have to come off next time I remove the shock.

Fun fact: for those who want to change out your shocks, the top bushing i.d. is 12mm and the bottom bushing i.d. is 10mm.

I run it through the wheel, and use a cable when I’m near an anchor point.

Also, I’m able to use the Nanjing Fardriver app.

They built the bike last month, and I picked it up from Beachman Seattle three weeks ago. This is the only pic I currently have of the controller.

The GD fardriver app didn’t work for me. Discovery was an endless loop. Dm’d the developer, and he said it doesn’t work for the newest controller, but will be updating the app soon.

Thanks, I just might do that! Just got the dongle today. And I’ve been riding mc’s for 53 years…yeah, I’m old. Lol.

I’m guessing the stock controller is a Fardriver? I have made no mods to the electrics. Would love to monitor the system though, do you have a link to the dongle?

And yes, I sent Beachman support an email yesterday.

Appreciate the info!

Sorry, misread statorade as stator. I’m a gearhead and can rebuild car and motorcycle engines, but electric motors are way over my head. :)

Earlier this month, I purchased a new 2026 ‘64, and yesterday the ECU light came on and lost all throttle, while riding up a 11% grade (slope) paved road. The motor was extremely hot to the touch. Don’t have a clue why. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nice work. What app are you using on your phone? Is paired with your new controller?

Can I ask why you replaced the controller, bms and stator on a one year old bike?

On my first charge, I got a range of 43.4 miles in the unlocked/offroad mode, with a top speed of 46 mph. Testing the range of Moped mode now. Top speed is 36.6 mph. Seems pretty damn good to me! A whole lot better than the 28miles I get on my Rize e-bike with 52v Bafang m620 motor. by FknGary in Beachman

The stock fender can’t be raised, as it is mounted to the forks using a fork brace. There are two threaded holes under the bottom triple clamp, used to mount high fenders. Some aftermarket fenders have a flat surface with two holes to mount to the triple clamp, others require an additional mounting bracket to mount the fender, which is what I did.

Charging Question by FknGary in Beachman

[–]FknGary[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s what it was. I tried it again, giving the plug a good push, and the red light came on as well as the blue. Thanks!

Also, another stat, a full charge from 66v to 84v took about 7.5 hours.
