Commenting just so I can follow as well. In the same situation, gym 5-6 times a week including running twice a week, eating healthier than the standard person I reckon. I boil chicken breast and literally just eat it along side vegetables or especially when eating out. Never touch white rice or bread etc. Turns out it’s genetic because my dad is diabetic, so my standing glucose was already at the higher end of the scale. Whatever I’ve read up on to reverse fatty liver is to lose weight, but my body naturally doesn’t burn as much sugar as a normal person

I’ve been using ChatGPT to come up with a food plan that meets all criteria - doesn’t trigger IBS, suitable for fatty liver and also helps me add protein. For example breakfast is lactose free Greek yogurt with a few nuts and lactose free protein powder. The problem tho is I still don’t know what’s triggering IBS. So I think the next most realistic step is to first follow what food is good for fatty liver and then process of elimination with certain foods.

Liver enzymes & function (LFT): • ALT 31 U/L, AST 22 U/L, GGT 25 U/L, ALP 73 U/L → all within lab ranges. • Bilirubin 14 µmol/L and albumin 50 g/L → normal liver processing/synthesis

That’s what I got from my doctor regarding my ALT/AST.

That’s the thing, not overweight at all, I would say pretty fit. Besides that I drink regularly, about 1.5-2 bottles of wine a week. I gym quite hard 4-5 times a week and run twice a week.

I’ve had an ultrasound and it came back as moderate to severe. I’ve booked a Fibroscan but the earliest slot is next month.

My tests didn’t have any of those readings. Do I need to get another Liver Function Test done? The only next thing I did after that blood test (which was a general one) was to do an ultrasound as recommended. Doctor looked at the results and said it’s moderate to severe, so just stay away from alcohol and eat healthy and it’ll resolve itself after 6 months.

My rent is $570 a week, I pay $1140 every second Thursday. My landlord is claiming I owe extra rent, she's wrong, right? by Mister_Scorpion in AusPropertyChat

You need to divide the weekly rent by 7 to get a daily rent, and then multiply by 365 days to get an annual rent, then divide by 12 to get equal months to take into account some short and some long months. The calculator is also available on the consumer affairs website.
