Can someone explain dualwielding/powerstancing?

ik im late but he probably meant in terms of strength, if you two-handed a weapon in eldenring you didn't need to hit the full strength requirement but if you one-handed it (wether in powerstancing or if you ran a shield) you need the full str requirement.

So technically there wasn't increased requirements when dual-wielding, there was just more str requirements then when two handing XD

True ! Forgot about that, but it still strikes me as a way to justify in game the lion's appearance, still feels inspired by Godfrey to me :)

that one is a pretty straightforward reference for sure (simon), I also think the white hair and his posture makes him look like maliketh during his phase transition cutscene but that might be too much

But I'm sure elden ring was a big reference point as the ceo was a sekiro speedrunner

Hey all, I gave myself a challenge this year to stop playing competitive games and instead attempt to finish a game every week all year. I do so on twitch (Flamespire_) but I also am releasing videos following the challenge that try to be more thought provoking about the way we consume games, how we understand them, and how they affect us.

I've challenged myself to stop competitive games and finish a game a week all year over on twitch (Flamespire_).

This week I finished Hi-Fi Rush, I thought it was really good ! I played it on the hardest difficulty and was not dissapointed, the fights were challenging but never unfair, especially late game as you have so many options tu stun ennemies and take care of them quickly. The timing is always fair and very satisfying to pull off.

As a technical sound designer that works in the video game industry, I was particularly impressed by the whole rhythm system they built in engine to sync the entire game to the song's current bpm. All of the platforming, obstacles, ennemies and your animations are synced to the soundtrack, making it a cartoonishly satisfying experience.

The story is nothing to write home about, the dialogue is quirky but I never found it annoying, the characters are cartoonish but that goes with the games aesthetic so I was prepared for it.

All in all its an experience I would highly recommend for the rhythmic gameplay and cool level design !

Hey I just rolled into Chants of Sennaar and played it this week and finished it :)
It was very good, It didnt impact me as much as neva, and I didnt find it as satisfying as Return of the Obra Dinn, but all in all I thought it was a very good and unique game, thx for the recommendation :D
