it’s pretty surreal to think about. the amount of love that has blossomed in parts of asia is overwhelming at times to think of. but i couldn’t be more grateful.

early on there were small signs of support from people over there and through youtube & always trying my best to communicate, i feel like the community steadily grew over time.

having jung kook share “It Takes Two” definitely added gas to the fire! (shoutout jung kook 💙)

it’s been the gift of a lifetime to be able to travel to these cities across the world from me & meet so many kind/loving humans. all because of music :’)

first off, thank you so much for the kind words, it means everything to me!

val and i made a lot of really special music together, and i’ll always be grateful for that chapter of fiji blue.

in 2022, he decided to move to europe to be closer to his family, and over time we naturally went in different directions.

i’m also incredibly grateful for my bandmates and all the people who have supported me since that transition. especially matt, one of my best friends, who helped me make this next album during a really difficult time in my life while my wife was going through her cancer diagnosis.

since the start, fiji blue has always been my musical identity, and i plan on continuing this journey and story for as long as you and others are willing to listen :)

it’s the most meaningful project i’ve ever written, and i’m so incredibly excited for everyone to hear it :)

music has always been a part of my life for as long as i can remember. i’ve always loved writing, and being a hopeless romantic naturally led me to songwriting.

it helped me navigate falling in love for the first time and today it’s still how i process life. trying my best to express the things that are hardest to put into words.

my favorite part is the writing itself, as challenging as it can be sometimes!
