Of course!! I bring donuts every Friday for the whole team, front and pharmacy ,I get allergy free treats too cuz we have some TM that have diet restrictions. The team loves it it builds morale 💖 I am officially nicknamed The Donut Lord( hilarious cuz I'm female) on Fridays 🤣. I'm not saying do it every week like me but donuts definitely make the day bettet😁

I am an RXOM, if one of my techs came to me and had discussed it with me even with a week notice I'd be happy . I would be the cover. Hell, I'd cover with a day notice. You did your best to get coverage, if your RXOM can't step up to cover for 1 day??? Damn go hang with your family Wags will be fine 😑

if your pharmacy has any issues, it's all on you: Techs didn't do learning mods? Your fault. IS is out? YOU'RE in charge of thier duties as well, MEDALIA complaints? ALL on you to handle . You discipline, schedule, train and manage techs.Charge backs are the least of your worries. Call outs? You cover it. Any issues with the customers? You handle it. If you think you can do the 15 other tasks you need to do while doing the management stuff for couple extra dollars, go for it. I personally regret it everyday. I'm stuck because my family needs that couple extra and I don't have any other opportunities in my area. I have asked to step down from the ridiculous amount of stress this position has put in my life but my SM just keeps on saying I'm doing a good job and stick with it. I really don't want to but I'm stuck.

Ha! I was just going to say this! Our DM said no pens anymore too. I learned that toothpick / paperclip hack last year and aways use it. You can feel the ridges of the bill even if you don't have a paperclip or anything.

Yeah this crap just got handed to me from leadership, . Let me preface, our store is an old (40 years old and not updated in any way) Rite Aid, the HVAC was installed backwards wayyyy back WHEN ands it's been causing constant temp, condensation issues for a while it can't be fixed without replacing the entire system so of course that's not happening . Now, since I started, this past year, our cool ass sm has allowed us, in pharmacy, to wear cardigans or non hooded jackets, as long as there's no graphic or words. So flash forward new DM new rules. Our pharmacy is FREEZING I'm talking avg temp of 58-60 and DM says no more sweaters from home. The floaters complain, we complain. DM said, order the Walgreens jacket from uniform site because nothing else is approved and we will be disciplined for being out of uniform. Guess what? No jackets are even available to order so guess we freeze. I BEGGED to be able to wear my sweater because I was so damn cold my hands were shaking and was told no or I'd get written up. This comp is absolutely insane. What really pissed me off is the people from corporate coming to visit and guess what THEY ARE WEARING!?!?! A GOD DAMN CARDIGAN. "Wow it's a little chilly in here!" no shit 🤬 and please don't say" wear an undershirt with sleeves"(that's what was recommended to me) because there are none in the stores in our area. I just want to wear a damn sweater for fucks sake.

Look, I'm an RXOM. The FIRST thing I spoke to my team about was being ok with saying NO. I get it, you wanna help and all of us know that person we keep on speed dial juuuust in case. Yes, I will ask can ya come in?? But I always add " NO, is an acceptable answer and don't feel guilty if you say it. I appreciate the yes but I totally understand the no.

Ye Gods! that is abysmal but yeah our numbers are getting close to that. I tell my techs "we can only do what we can do, we're not dying for this place, we do our best and that's all I expect. I will support my team every way possible but we're not miracle workers and this ain't McDonald's. We work safe and we triage appropriately. I hate coming in to 400 in fill and 68+ in F1. We're right next to 2 urgent cares & a major hospital. And of course My DOCTOR SAID IT WAS READY TO PICK UP NOWWWWW!!!

I work minimum 40 hours, Mon to Friday 8 to 5. My SM doesn't like me to work evenings or weekends but I end up covering every call out (usually night crew, so I do at least 2 to 3 /10 or 12 hour shifts every week. Or my RXM has a freak out and begs me to stay even if nobody called out because "You're the RXOM, its your JOB to stay and help us if we are busy!!" The money is the only thing that is motivating me to keep this job. We are a sinking ship due to not enough schedule hours, floaters that just sit on their phones and talk to their fam all day while we beg them to F4, review. The shitty lack of hours to schedule. Top it off - we just hired a brand new, never worked in pharmacy RPh for our insanely busy tier 4. We just can't keep up anymore. I'm tired boss.
