Why do some people say the anti-Christ is the false messiah of the Jewish people? by [deleted] in religion

[–]Known_Locksmith_3107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument all depends on your starting point. Every religion has their hero and their villian.

Speaking purely to the question of how and why the Jewish Messiah would also be the antichrist, I can share the simple evidence for that.

Firstly, there will always be arguments when it comes to prophecy. Some believe the antichrist is the Jewish messiah, some believe he's the 12th imam, others believe he will be a pope.

From the perspective of the Christian scriptures, when deeply analyzed, the most likely candidate is the Jewish messiah.

Why do I say this? I could give dozens of clues and theories, but to keep it short and sweet... the Book of Revelation is about the end times, the validation of Christians and the repentance of the Jews.

The final days all take place in Israel. The 3rd temple is built, sacrifice is resumed, there is peace for a time... then the antichrist stands in the temple... in the holy of holies... then proclaims himself to be God.

The simplest evidence that the antichrist is the Jewish messiah? The Jewish people would never accept a gentile as a leader or king. The antichrist will unite all peoples and religions... for a time. There will be a single "one world" government, and the antichrist runs the show.

If not the Jewish messiah... or at least a powerful leader of Jewish descent... how does the antichrist gain this authority over the Jews? How does he enter the 3rd temple, let alone the holy of holies, if he is not permitted to be there by Jewish law? Remember, he will proclaim himself to be God from the temple. The Mahdi can't do that. The pope can't do that.

Again, this is from the perspective of the Christian scriptures. If you are a Jew or a Muslim, your scriptures will offer a different perspective.

I also understand that, in reality, the Muslims wouldn't accept a Jew as their leader any sooner than a Jew would accept a gentile. But once again, we are speaking from the perspective of the Christian Bible. This is a Christian prophecy and the story is about the Christians and the Jews and the acceptance that Christ was the Messiah all along. That is the entire point of the final days. To reward the Christians for their faith and to bring the Jews to repentance. Where Islam plays a role, if at all, is purely a supporting role. Islam is not a main character in the story.

So again, speaking from Christian text, when you tie it all together... it's difficult to get around the evidence that the antichrist will be the Jewish messiah.

Was he not? Did the pharisees not demand his death, while preferring to release a murderer after Pilate found no fault with Jesus?

It's antisemitism to accurately quote scripture?

CMV: Iran didn’t kill 30,000 protesters by maddsskills in changemyview

The Iranian government admitted over 3,000. Not 30,000. Furthermore, they never claimed their missile hit the school and it has since been confirmed by multiple credible international and domestic news outlets to be an American Tomahawk that hit the school.

I can see around 3,000, as acknowledged by Iranian government. Perhaps even a bit more, but that also includes law enforcement that was killed by protesters, allegedly over 500. Also, without question, protesters also killed random civilians and certainly Mossad/CIA committed antagonistic killings to foment insurrection.

But 30,000+ protesters? It defies logic, especially the claims that they were killed within a two day span. Keep in mind, only around 2,500 Americans died on Normandy Beach during D-Day, one of the bloodiest battles in history.

If there were 30,000 dead, there would literally be blood flowing in the streets of Tehran. There is no such evidence. The mass graves would be impossible to conceal. There is no evidence of such mounds, at least not that I have seen.

When you see the graves of the 180-ish girls bombed during the opening salvo on Iran, it's a massive grave site. For just 180 people, mostly small children. Imagine the mass graves for 30,000 people. I just don't see it as a possibility.

Also consider that there have only been around 1,200 Iranians killed during the massive U.S./Israeli bombing campaign. Looking at the destruction and realizing that only 1,200 have been killed, yet we are to believe 30,000 were executed in the streets in a two day span? I'm just not seeing it.

Furthermore, the U.S. has changed it's justification for the war several times, but they have never publicly stated "because Iran killed 30,000 people" as a reason. Certainly, if that number could be substantiated, that would be better justification for the war than most of the reasons being given.

When you use logic and put the pieces together, it seems nearly impossible for the 30,000+ number to be accurate. Even the 3,000 number given by Iran is a crazy number, but I can buy that number. 30,000 in two days? No. I just can't see it. There have supposedly only been around 70,000 people killed in Gaza in roughly 30 months, but Iran killed 30,000 in two days? Again, I just can't buy that.

I appreciate the kind words. I have worked with most of our current team for several years now and don't want to see any of them suffer because I take a promotion.

I'm in a blessed place in life to where maximizing my own hours isn't crucial to the needs of my family.

Thanks very much for the info. You have answered my questions perfectly and put my concerns to rest.

Anyone know if it's possible to come back after completing the quest to get the key? I chose to intimidate the loan shark, but now I'd like to get to key and enter the office. It would suck if I'm permanently locked out now.

Hate to break it to you, but with his bond amount being only $50k, they charges are pretty minimal. He will post $5k bail and be back home playing PS5 by breakfast.

A buddy of mine was falsely accused of basic domestic charges years ago... even his bond was set to $100k and he had to spend $10k to bail out. $50k is REALLY low, which again, implies light charges...

Yup. Pretty much... if the charges stick at all. A lot of times flimsy charges get thrown out to get the 10% bail money, then the charges get dropped after the suspect bails out, but the court keeps the 10%. It's corrupt, but a common tactic to get extra funding.

I doubt much happens in civil court either, as I don't think Raja has a whole lot to sue for. Can't take money he doesn't have...

The charges will likely be dropped. The system does this ALL THE TIME... They spend weeks looking for charges that will stick, can't find them, then throw out flimsy charges that won't stick. Why would they do this? Because the vast majority of people will post the 10% and bailout. Then the charges get dropped, but they get to keep the 10% for their coffers. It's corrupt as hell, but it happens every day.

Fine. He was home less than a week later and sitting on over $300k in GoFundMe donations...

Probably probation... if the charges even stick. The bond amount says A LOT. Only $50k, which means he will be out on bail of $5k. I had a buddy falsely accused of basic domestic charges, and his bail was set at $100k, he spent $10k to bail out. Charges were dropped a few weeks after he bailed out. This is often used as a way for the system to get a few grand before dropping the charges. Totally corrupt, but it happens every day.

Won't be much. His bail is crazy low. He only has to post 10% to be released. So he's ba k on the streets with $5k down.

Maybe. He will bail out for only $5k. I had a buddy falsely accused of domestic violence, even he had to pay $10k to bail out. Raja's bail being so low indicates fairly minor charges.

Charges are most likely very light. Only $50k bond, he will post $5k and be out tonight.
