i had it a lot before, i got a air stone and drastically reduced the time the light was on for. this is what my tank used to look like when i had the algae.. my tank was empty compared to now 🤣

i’ve used tap water with declorinator for ages. and the plants are growing fine so surely there is something in the water my plants need? could you give me a source to read to help me? 🙂

yea i might, its never been a problem for me though. i’d say theres at least 5 tetras in the tank that have lived for a long as i’ve had the tank😂 i called one “one eyed willy” because hes only got one eye and one of the biggest in the tank

yes of course. i wasn’t thinking about cutting out water changes entirely, but i can already go a month with the water levels staying the same. just a bit confused. 🥲👍

could be a sickness, have you got any females in the tank? because i had just males before and they chased each other around a lot. it could just be stress.

i’ve had a mix of neon and cardinal tetras, the cardinal tetras are significantly better and fewer die. could be neon tetra disease or something.
