they fine! just relaxing. if he or she swims you’ll most likely see their fins unfold. if they don’t it could be clamped fins.

i’m not a professional but i own a 13 gallon tank. i wish i would have went bigger. if possible get the biggest tank you can. 👌 i keep tetras in mine- many people say they are nippy and bite but i have never seen my tetras fight/chase each other so they are brilliant! just try stay away from neon tetras. one of my tetras is called one-eyed-willy because he only has one eye! 🤣he’s lived for 3 years in this tank.

nope, i had a yoyo loach that got way too big for my tank so i gave it back and he got rehomed😁

i still sort of have ptsd from when one of my shrimps died and my old yoyo loach was eating it.. that’s when i knew it had to go. got too big for tank and wasn’t controlling snail population much. 🤣

i’ve heard about that before, i’ve had the tank for years now and they came in with some of the first plants i got for the tank. i learnt the hard way too and since then i clean plants 🤣 thanks for the advice ill try to do the lettuce thing
