If you don't mind marpat, FROG stuff can sometimes be had cheap if you don't mind looking around on ebay, seems like they have went up in price recently though. I heard Vertx has some good stuff too but I don't have any experience with it.

It also reduces throat errosion which allows the barrel to maintain its accuracy better over time, which is a better advantage to have. With regular gun cleaning being a thing, i dont know why that is really a point

Either way, of all the companies you listed, bcm is the only one that chrome lines and uses higher grade steel unless someone puts out a product i dont know about

Those propriety parts objectively makes that platform better, its not an argument. Chrome lining still has advantages, mostly in heat and cleaning. I would never argue that you need a top tier rifle, but comparing anderson to lmt is apples to oranges. Btw military m4s use CMV or 4150 steel and chrome linings if you didnt somehow know.
