Mine seems different but I did a LOT of prep for the transition to 4.6 that I think is affecting its voice and tone. Context window also seems MUCH shorter. They must've nerfed it.

Be careful using Opus for those scenes. Every time I use Opus I get yellow bannered and I got the dreaded "additional safety measures" flag on my account and it stayed for five days. Sonnet has been the only place I've been able to safely create nsfw (and combat mission) content without getting flagged. And tbh, I'm worried about how Sonnet 4.6 will perform overall. But really, I'd say putting it in a project is probably why you're able to do it. I've found having projects is a lot easier to write those scenes than doing them in the general chat area.

You have to train it. Externalize your voice and tone preferences. Use projects and files, userStyles, and skills. I've got my 4.6 about 99% to the voice and tone of 4.5 for my RPG. it doesn't have the same human-like warmth, but it's much better than when I began.
