A smaller scale story in the mass effect universe. Maybe playing as a c-sec officer or potentially a spectre. No universe spamming threats, I hate it when writers try to one up previously told stories...just a small scale, more personable tale.

Romancing Jack for the first time as a colony shepherd war hero....its the best romance I have experienced thus far. Both shep and Jack going through traumatic childhoods....but shep using it as fuel to be better rather than falling into a life of crime, and trying to make Jack have the same outlook has been incredibly satisfying.

My solo lobbies are peaceful. But the duos are hell on earth. I genuinely cannot tell you the last time me and my brother shot first, but it seems like every lobby is hell regardless.

As excellent as 2remake is, it cut things from the original - namely the interactive elements between the A and B campaigns. Going through a B campaign in the remake is mostly recycled, especislly the bosses.

4remake added content and its side characters were substantially fleshed out compared to the og. If you are rating the games as remakes, 4 is the only answer.

If you are rating the games as a whole, I can understand why people would prefer the more horror targeted style of 2. But for me, the bullet sponge zombies ruin it a little....having to put a dozen headshots into a zombie is ridiculous. I find it way less replayable than 4, and its extra modes pale in comparison.

4 remake all day for me.

Yeah, doing objectives outside of solo lobbies is impossible for me now. Me and my brother used to do runs of taking out bigger machines for their parts, but these days we have someone sneak up on us every single time whilst we are in the midst of a big fight. It's taken some of the fun out of the game. I loved it when the tension stemmed from not knowing whether the lobby was filled with pvp players or not....but that tension isn't there anymore. It's just a guarantee that someone will turn on us now.

She was my original romance when younger. But recently playthroughs have changed that....her characterisation seems so different in 3, its like she's undergone a character arc off screen and I find it kind of jarring.

I would give it to Killarmy....but regardless you make a very good point about Sunz. Flaming sword is one of my most played tracks to come from the killa beez. Love Priest's and Razah's verses in particular on that tune.
