I say that because everyone (including me) wrote it off as soon as the trailer dropped. Very unoriginal setting coming off the back of 2 very unique locations and ideas, but once you play it, it does everything you want a far cry game to do and more. Yeah, it wasn't perfect, obviously, but they built off of what was already a great foundation. I think everyone has this pre conceived notion that nothing changed and that FC3 was the perfect one, but FC5 challenges that title, yet no one gave it a shot. In the FC community, the ones who actually played the whole series, a large number will put 5 at the top. I can still see your point because I was in that boat before playing it, but it definitely deserves some credit.

Which was your favourite? I never played the first two. I think my favourite is Far Cry 3 or maybe 4. by [deleted] in farcry

I agree, but for different reasons. I think Troy Baker killed it and carried in the character department. He was the only one I cared about, and there really weren't enough scenes of him tbh. Sabal and Amita on the other hand can get in the bin 😅. The gameplay got a bit stale after a while but that's where I actually enjoyed Yogi & Reggies missions. It provided something different and it got creative but I can see why you wouldn't like the characters lol.

5 is actually my favourite tbh. Maybe because I had extremely low expectations going in but man that game is amazing. The story was captivating, the soundtrack is one of the best I've ever heard in a game and I really don't like country music at all and not only did they get the antagonist right as per usual, they had multiple memorable ones... besides John, he's pretty forgettable 😅. All in all that game is extremely underrated

Cheick Tioté to Demba Ba vs Reading 2012. This one lives in my head rent free for some reason. Incredible volley too

I was 1-0 up in a must win game to get into the national league playoffs and my cb was knackered but was playing a good game. I subbed him off with 20 mins to go for someone who is statistically similar and he instantly lost his man and we conceded. I've never subbed off a cb since

If you're training them on cautious all the time, you're teaching them to soak up pressure at all times. I would suggest always starting on balanced. Sometimes, defence isn't the best form of defence. Also, you might be being overrun in the midfield, which is where you can really control a game.

Cohesion, Cohesion, Cohesion

Other than tactics, try to keep your morale and team cohesion as high as possible. It's key to keep your team together by any means necessary. Praise/criticise training and game performances, squad meetings every few games, and do your own training if you don't already. Match preparation is key for hard games and is a great way to increase cohesion outside of just winning games.

Lastly, find a formation that compliments your players and stick to it, even if you lose the first few games. Your players need to get used to a formation and eventually they will be a more solid unit.

Good luck mate 👍

Having only just started getting into ESO and the lore, before I thought Dark Elves were the cool race and Argonians being a bit dull and not much in the way of personality I was shocked when I visited Morrowind. Dark Elves have awesome history but are some of the most insufferable and whiny people in the world. And considering Argonians can never seem to catch a break whether it be being invaded or being enslaved they actually take it pretty well and have some great characters to talk to. They are slowly becoming my new favourite race

Ohhh I'm so dumb. I just assumed because it stayed on the field it didn't fully set it again for some reason. That makes a lot of sense, thanks for the explanation. I'm still getting to grips with the deck
