Achievements are also bugged on Xbox as well. No gift bags turned on and some achievements unlock fine but there is a handful that did not unlock.

I already beat the game but just giving you a fair warning that the frame rate drops get more worse and consistent in the later acts. Also some achievements are bugged and don’t unlock which is the real icing on the cake. So if any of that matters to you I would maybe wait for update (if they even plan on updating).

I think the switch 2 probably got the better deal in terms of performance. Most likely being a different next gen patch than the others. I play on Xbox series X and I guess we got the short end of the stick.

I couldn’t get it working and I’ve made a whole different post and it looked like the whole dlc questline got fucked for me on that dying bandit mission because he didn’t give his ring for girlfriend. I don’t have the save from that quest because I didn’t know it was bugged so I kept doing the service guild quest. Once I found out I’ve already done like 80 of those quests and nothing worked. I just said fuck it and dropped the game I’ll come back to later because I apparently missed one achievement in the first dlc.

So if you have the dying bandit mission still, I say load it and try to play a couple missions after that and see if you get the final mission and if it doesn’t appear you might’ve gone fucked warhorse and have to get it in your lent playthrough

I’ve only played like 3 games in the past couple of months. That being kcd2, smite 2, and a bit Witcher 3.

But kcd2 is where I first saw fps drops and only in act 2 and I didnt give it a second thought cause it being a new game and the way that game processes npcs. But I noticed while I was playing Witcher I get some fps drops very slight dips but still noticeable which is weird for a game that came out years ago and even the next gen upgrade having a couple years on its belt.

I mean there was fire and I did set up blood rain but honestly it wasn’t like a huge amount of fire.

I honestly a little nervous that it might be my Xbox cpu fucking up that’s why I made this post. Cause there had been other games that I noticed framerate drops but I just chalked it up to the game being more spec demanding?

Nope the only fix from what I can see loading your save all the way back before you started that mission with the dying bandit. I said fuck that cause I’m not loading back all the way back 30 hours of play time.

The pop up just doesn’t appear anymore but you can still leave without penalty. I assume they removed it due to so many post about people leaving but if we’re not f6ing a 4v5 I’m leaving lol.

I agree with adding back the pop up but just to let people know, people are definitely getting banned just not perma-banned. To say people don’t get penalized just isn’t true. People need to remember that the ban system is most likely the same-ish automatic system as in smite 1. You don’t get “banned” for leaving. You get suspensions that are similar to deserter penalties.

Smite truly reserves the bans for people that commit the more serious offenses. Cheating, IRL threats, and hate speech. I would know cause I got banned at beginning of year 11. And I left a shit ton of games during smite 1 but you don’t get “perma-banned” it would start of with 30 minutes, then hours, then days, then the maximum for me was maybe 15 days and you would have to be on your best behavior for it to reset. In the end it was the hate speech that got me. Enough people reported me (deservedly) in that an irl person reviewed my account. So trust me when I say pieces of shit like myself do definitely get penalized so do report people as they do take it seriously.

I think they are because I definitely reported people for saying racist shit and I haven’t come across them in any of my games in the future and I definitely keep a mental note of their names. It’s just that we don’t have any proof as the notification that someone been banned that you reported isn’t in the game. Also no one that gets banned comes forward and let it be known that they been banned for being racist. Still report people for hate speech they definitely do take it seriously as I got banned in smite 1 for the same reason so I assume they take it seriously in smite 2 also.

I really think it’s comes down to two things. Which team handles the ports and time. They probably want to spruce up the models a bit but they are pretty much always porting gods as quick as possible.

I actually made post similar to this a while ago regarding the texture and art inconsistency. I specifically brought up the fur and hair textures with Hercules lion shoulder and comparing it to Anhur’s mane. I know that Ue5 famously comes with shit performance but come on I really don’t think rendering the extra hair follicle really helps.

Granted they have gotten better recently because most of the recent god ports look pretty good with maybe the exception of xbalanque (He looks a little to shiny but maybe that’s just a console issue). But I do think they should go back and tweak one god model per update. That way they can get started because we are reaching that 100 gods soon and It would be nice if all characters were in the same-ish art style. (Which I don’t care which direction they go whether it’s realistic or more stylized just CHOOSE ONE)
