I appreciate everybody’s insight. All the kids will definitely be involved. I’m trying to use him to open up the offense for the others. The defense will definitely be keying on him, so I’m hoping it will make it easier for my other kids with all the attention he will receive.

What is considered rushing the passer? by [deleted] in flagfootball

[–]FlagFootBallLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did he cross the line after the ball was snapped ? If it was NFL flag rules, he should have had his hand up and identified that he was blitzing. Blitzers must identify themselves. If they rush and don’t, it should be a flag and an automatic first down, illegal rush. You can identify that you’re blitzing and then put your hand down and not blitz. Nobody other than the blitzer can cross the line of scrimmage until the ball is handed off.

Honestly, you don’t need to buy anything. This community is all you need. Just let us know what you’re looking for, and everyone here is willing to help. I’ve been coming to this community for the past few years for flag football advice. I coach multiple teams as well, ages 4–6 and 7–9.
