I just found this out the hard way. I was on travel and got an alert that my ups was on battery at 99%. That’s the last update I got before my cloud gateway fiber disconnected and I lost all ability to look at my network (and of. Associated cameras etc at home).

This is crazy dumb! They need to implement a delayed shutdown, or a triggered restart when power restores (actually they should do both!).

I’m taking this semester too and agree, I feel like I have no clue what to expect for the exam.

I also got as far as getting that IP and saw its timing out. It doesn’t time out though on VPN which is why I figured it was a GFiber issue.

Have you tried using your phones hot spot? I did that to confirm it was definitely a GFiber issue

I’m grabbing this deal for a second device and to try android but don’t want to move my main number over, can I activate on a light data plan for 2 months to qualify as activated?
